Green trade official

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Thursday that the team has
acquired 6-6 guard Kirk Snyder, a 2010 second-round draft pick and cash
considerations from the Houston Rockets in exchange for guard Gerald
Green.

Also from the Wolves site:
Snyder has appeared in nine games for the Rockets this season, averaging 3.8 points and 1.3 rebounds in 9.0 minutes per game.

Jerry Zgoda/Star Tribune on Kirk Snyder:
He has been on the inactive list for 22 games this season. Basically, a
deal to get something for a guy who management determined had no future
with this team. Time will tell. He has star athletic talent, but….

Also from Zgoda:
Snyder, like Green, has a contract that expires after this season.
