Wolves Updates 5/7

The Minnesota Timberwolves are not having much luck trying to get Antoine Walker to accept a buy out.

But Szczerbiak supposedly took exception to being
treated like a bug in the years following his rookie season, and he and
Garnett got into a confrontation over respect. The two appeared to have
patched things up. No matter, Szczerbiak eventually was shipped off in
one of Kevin McHale’s worst deals. Ricky Davis was the co-headliner,
and a heap of lousy players were included both ways. But, of course,
McHale tossed in a
first-round pick.
 
Now Wally and K.G. are facing each other. The winner
gets the right (most likely) to face Saunders and his Detroit Pistons
in the conference finals. The Pistons aren’t having many problems
against the Orlando Magic.
 
Saunders was another guy "done wrong" by McHale…
 
 
 
The Wild ranked 31st among 122 professional sports teams based on fan satisfaction in a survey of more than 80,000 fans by ESPN. The Indianapolis Colts were No. 1, the Green Bay Packers No. 4, the Twins No. 39, the Vikings No. 110 and the Timberwolves No. 118. Criteria included what the teams "give back to fans who invest their time and money in the organization."
