Mike Miller, the Mitchell, S.D., native who came to the Timberwolves in Thursday’s draft-day deal with the Memphis Grizzles, is thrilled with the trade.
"Absolutely it’s a coming- home party," Miller said. "It gives me a

Q. Have you talked to Kevin McHale or anyone with the team yet? What have they told you about your role?
A. I talked to him a little bit the night of the draft. We had just

struggled with. How do you feel about your opportunity to improve on
that?

got me. Not only just making and shooting more 3s and making the game
easier for the other guys, but giving Al Jefferson (more room in the
center) and the opportunity to open the floor up for Randy Foye and
give Kevin Love the opportunity to do what he does. When you get
