Below is an excerpt from a letter from Wolves president Chris Wright to season ticket holders:
You’ve heard of the old saying, "the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry?" Well, unfortunately we have become astute scholars of that quote as we recently learned that the printing of our season tickets has been delayed. The company that prints our season tickets (and about 20 other professional sports teams) is in the process of negotiating a labor dispute with workers who have walked out on strike. Last week our vendor came to the conclusion that the dispute was not going to be resolved quickly and notified NBA and NHL teams that all ticket printing jobs for this coming season had been cancelled. In light of this news we moved quickly to secure a new vendor but due to the late timing of the notice, the delivery of our season tickets has been pushed back. We want to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your patience.
Because of this unforeseen situation, you will be receiving your tickets in two installments. The first installment will arrive in mid-October…
