Lakers coach Phil Jackson on Wolves forward Kevin Love, who wasn’t selected for the Feb. 13 rookie sophomore game in Phoenix: “I cautioned my assistant coaches that they should probably vote for him because I think he’s playing very well. What he’s doing I think is a contributing factor to this ballclub.”
Jackson on the rebuilding Wolves: “They are still small and this conference is big, so that’s still probably a factor. And their guard corps is relatively small. So they have that issue to face. They certainly have talented young players; there’s no doubt about that. It’s all chemistry I think from here on out.”
