Game previews:
“It’s tough because I want to be out there,” Brewer said. “I wish I could be out there but I can’t. I can’t wait to get back to full speed, doing different things. It’s just a process right now.”
Yet within the past month, Brewer has returned to the Twin Cities and is attending as many Wolves practices as he can. Afterward, he’s able to shoot some stationary shots and banter with teammates…
For the first time in 15 years as owner of the Timberwolves, Glen Taylor will personally announce a ticket sales plan for the 2009-10 season in a news conference today.
“The thing that impresses me most about Sebastian is his competitiveness,” Bickerstaff said. “Every day in practice or when he is on the floor, he is a fierce competitor. The practice drills and the shooting games at shoot-arounds, when they supposed to be for fun, he is out there competing all the time. He gets upset when he is losing. He is not one of those guys who take losing lightly.”

Finally, Telfair now is settled in as a starter and is enjoying his opportunity to lead the Wolves and help his teammates get open shots. “Whether I am playing my best or my worst, I always can get to the middle of the paint and get another guy an open shot.”

“I have no complaints at all,” concluded McHale on Telfair. “He is a tremendous young man and fun to be around.”
