In January things really began to look up for Jefferson’s Timberwolves. They went 10-4 and for the first time in a long time it appeared that Kevin McHale put together a squad capable of doing some things. Then tragedy struck in the form of a torn ACL for Jefferson that put his season to an end, and the Wolves as well for all intensive purposes.
Major changes are on the horizon in Minnesota. They’re on the verge of hiring a new General Manger and a new coach is sure to follow along with many personnel changes. One thing is certain though: Jefferson is going nowhere because he’s one of the premiere big men in the league. His full recovery is vital to any chances the Wolves have of once again becoming relevant.
