After Saturday night’s 122-111 loss to the Indiana Pacers, the Timberwolves have now dropped four games in a row. That probably sounds like more of the same from this green bunch, more double-digit losses, more futility. Don’t be fooled, though, because in recent weeks this team has made pretty significant strides…
A few weeks ago, I spoke with team owner Glen Taylor and asked him if Timberwolves (and Lynx) fans have “bought in” to the rebuilding plans for the respective teams. He stated how he believes that fans have been wonderful this season, understanding that this year is only the first step in the new regime’s rebuilding plan and I agree with him. I have come across more fans this year with enthusiasm over what they see on the court and the conversations on my Timberwolves page always seem to include many fans asking others to continue to have patience.
