Wolves Assign Nathan Jawai to Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League
Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the club has assigned second-year forward Nathan Jawai to the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League. Jawai has appeared in 36 games for the Wolves this season, averaging 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game.
“This will provide an opportunity for Nate to play 30 minutes per game on back-to-back nights and be the focal point of an offense,” said David Kahn, Timberwolves’ President of Basketball Operations. “It will help us and Nate evaluate where he is with his conditioning and long-term potential in the NBA. We expect to have Nate rejoin us after the weekend.”
