The second half of the NBA season is not working out too well for the Timberwolves.
Since the end of the all-star break, the Wolves have had scoring slumps at key moments, and the untimely trend continued in Friday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls at Target Center.
A fourth-quarter shooting drought helped Chicago pull away to a 100-94 victory, which extended the Wolves’ losing streak to five games and left them 0-3 in the second half of the season.
“I’ve never seen nothing like that,” Jefferson said after the Timberwolves were undone by an inexplicable fourth-quarter scoring drought, and a night-long series of missed layups, in a 100-94 loss to the Chicago Bulls. “Missing shots like that, it’s pretty hard to win.”
“There’s still guys trying to figure each other out, still trying to figure themselves out, so when you take a break they have nothing to go back to, to hold on to,” Rambis said.
Despite an aggressive start for Al Jefferson, the center only managed 10 points. He looked great from the onset with a couple of effective spin moves in the post past Brad Miller. Frustration developed throughout the course of the game and Big Al could not find the early offensive rhythm.

Corey Brewer led Minnesota with 19 points on 8-for-17 shooting from the floor.
