The Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to move shooting guard Kevin Martin, ESPN’s Chris Broussard reports. Martin, 33, is shooting a career-low 37.5 percent from the floor while averaging 11.3 points in 22.6 minutes per game this season. He has missed the last nine games with a wrist injury.
The NBA trade deadline is on Thursday. Broussard reports that the Timberwolves are open to moving Martin, power forward Adreian Payne and point guard Ricky Rubio.
If Martin is traded before the deadline, he hopes it’s to a winning team:

The Dallas Mavericks would have interest in Martin if he receives a buyout from the Timberwolves, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports the Miami Heat would have interest too. Martin is owed $7 million next season.
We’ll see by Thursday at 3 p.m. ET if the Timberwolves honor Martin’s desire to be traded to a winning team.
