Hockey is back in Nationwide Arena and it just feels right. Let’s take a look at Ottawa’s lineup and see what the Jacket’s are in for tonight.
Pregame
Lehner is at the rink, which would mean he's still scheduled to start tonight's game #sens

Greening, Wiercioch and Hoffman are the #sens staying on the ice for extra skating

Hoffman won’t be in this evening, who as you recall burned the Jacket’s on a couple of goals earlier this season. Jared Cowen will draw in this evening, a polarizing figure in Ottawa, his usage should be monitored tonight to see whether or not Jacket’s try to take advantage of his shortcomings. Robin Lehner will be in net this evening, who is expected to become a first time father this week. While this has no real bearing on the game we want to wish Lehner’s family an early congratulations. Mazel Tov!

So Bob is hurt. That stinks. Don’t let anyone fool you, the loss of Bob may be the biggest of the season, luckily it is only for one or two weeks but this seemingly easy stretch may prove to be a little tougher than anticipated. The lineup is completely influx but all things considered the lines available have definitely been optimized to their max potential.
Before Sunday, looking forward, this game looked to be a jumping off point of sorts. Once again with injuries ravaging the lineup it is critical that the Jacket’s keep their head above water until players return to the lineup. Will Dano or Wennberg step up to the plate and fill the scoring need for the Jacket’s? Will McElhinney rise to the occasion?
