Round 1: Referee for this bout is Kenichi Serizawa. Sugiyama begins the fight with a Yellow Card for missing weight. The fighters circle each other, with both throwing combos but not landing much. Sugiyama clinches against the corner and works for a takedown. She picks Tamada up and double-legs her down away from the corner.
Sugiyama postures her hips up, but Tamada is keeping her guard high and tight. Tamada passes one of Sugiyama’s arms and goes for a triangle. Sugiyama slips the arm back in and Tamada grabs it. She tries to switch for an armbar but can’t get it. Sugiyama breaks free and lands in half-guard, where she stays until the bell.
Round 2: The fighters circle for a bit in round two. Sugiyama clinches and gets a trip takedown into half-guard. She tries to pass to mount and gets her foot caught. Sugiyama finally takes mount and throws two punches. Tamada rolls and Sugiyama takes her back. She flattens Tamada out, but can’t keep one hook in. Sugiyama grapevines the other leg for stability. Tamada rolls and Sugiyama alternates between back control and mount for a bit.
Sugiyama switches to side control and throws punches. Tamada hips out and gets to her knees. She tries for a single-leg but grabs the far leg and can’t get anything. Tamada eats a storm of hammerfists to the face before she gets wise and grabs the closer leg. Still no luck and she is hit with more punches. Tamada gets to her feet and they clinch in the corner. Sugiyama tries for more takedowns but can’t get them. Referee Serizawa breaks them up and the round ends.

Round 1: The heavyweights touch gloves tentatively circle one another in the orthodox stance. Rothwell lands a punch to the body and Schaub wants to clinch. Rothwell gets the Thai plum and lands a knee, but Schaub breaks away. Schaub charges Rothwell against the cage and connects with a couple shots, but Rothwell snipes back with a left hook which turns Schaub’s head around. Schaub falls to his back, Rothwell lands a brutal right hand, and the lights are on but nobody’s home. Schaub is grabbing for a Rothwell who isn’t there and referee Herb Dean steps in to save Schaub from any more damage. Ben Rothwell gets the knockout win just 70 seconds into the opening round.

1st Round: The light heavyweights come out firing. Beltran lands a nice one-two combination. He has Pokrajac clinched against the fence. Beltran tags him with some nice uppercuts in the clinch. Beltran unleashes a flurry on his opponent’s dome. During an assault, Pokrajac stuns him with a punch. Beltran, 10-9.
2nd Round: Pokrajac comes out much more aggressive in the middle stanza and unloads several punches to the face. Beltran clinches him against the cage. Pokrajac eats a punch to the cup and time is called. Game on. Beltran is relentless with his attack, connecting with numerous punches on a flurry. Beltran, 10-9.
3rd Round: Beltran returns to the clinch game that has served him so well thus far. Pokrajac fights free and they exchange power shots in the center of the cage. Pokrajac finally shows significant signs of life, but it might be too little too late. Beltran continues to clinch against the fence. Both fighters throw everything they can as the bout comes to an end. Beltran, 10-9, and swept the cards, 30-27.

He kicks again, but Maguire ducks in and scores a big takedown. Johnson pulls guard and looks for options. Maguire staying very tight on top.He tries to pass, adn Johnson looks for an omo plata. Not there, so he turns for the armbar. The two roll and spin in a few tense moments, but Maguire pulls free and sets up on top. Halfway in. Johnson tries to turn and stand, but Maguire keeps him pinned. Maguire not doing a ton of damage, but he has scored with a few elbows from top. Maguire looks for an arm-triangle, but he’s on the wrong side to finish. Still he keeps side control. Final minute.Johnson gets to his knees, but Maguire switches to his back and looks for the choke. It’s not there, and the round ends. MMAjunkie.com awards the round to Maguire, 10-9, based on the late transitions.
Round 2: Johnson takes the center. Maguire lands a massive overhand left and shoots in. Johnson alertly rolls and sweeps to top position. Maguire complains of Johnson’s hand on his neck, but Hacklou lets them fight on. Maguire turns for an armbar, but Johnson pulls free. Maguire kicks him away, and they reset on the feet. High kick for Johnson. He goes low twice, and Maguire suggest it’s in the cup. Sure sounds like it was, but Hacklou does not intervene. Maguire puts his hand on the ground as Johnson moves in. A knee looks borderline illegal, but Hacklou doesn’t intervene. Maguire reverses course and gets a takedon, setting up on top with less than two minutes. Johnson rolls for a kimura from half-guard, but Maguire keeps his arm tight before rolling out and spinning for an armbar of his own. It’s tight, and Johnson must tap. Slick finish from Maguire.

Round 1: Both fighters exchanging leg kicks, trying to find the distance early. Wilkinson connects with a nice kick before shooting in and scoring with a takedown. Johnston sitting up against the fence which allows Wilkinson to grab onto a wicked tight standing guillotine. Johnston does a good job of avoiding the choke but he attempts to stand up, Wilkinson takes him for a ride and slams him back down. Wilkinson again looks for a guillotine, but loses the move and end up on his back. Wilkinson wastes no time attacking off his back, first with a triangle and then with the Armbar. Johnston is able to slip out of each submission but every time he escapes one, he’s stuck in another. Wilkinson bloodied up as the round end despite having Johnston stuck in submissions for much of the round.
Round 2: Wilkinson throws out a couple of light strikes before closing the distance and taking Johnston down. Wilkinson again looks to lock up a guillotine and once again, even though it looks tight, Johnston is able to free himself and assume top control. Johnston is able to pass to half guard and in doing so is able to neutralize much of Wilkinson’s attack. Wilkinson attempting to free his hips and possible sweep, but Johnston is far too top heavy and is able to defend each time.
Round 3: Wilkinson sticks to the game plan for the start of round three and attempts to take Johnston down. Johnston does a good job of keeping his balance, but Wilkinson shows off his strength by hoisting him up in the air before walking him to the other side of the cage and laying him down. Wilkinson in his own corner now trying to get some advice from his team but it makes no difference and Johnston frees himself and gets on top. Wilkinson is trying hard to turn the tide and lock up an arm from the bottom but he just can’t get anything to danger Johnston who rides out the rest of the round.

Round 1 – Garcia came out and landed a two punch combination that dropped Schulz, but he would be able to get back to his feet. The fighters would grapple against the cage and Schulz would eventually take the fight to the ground. He would transition to get his back and would then move over to get the full mount. He would land strikes from the full mount position. He would then transition to attempt an arm triangle choke, but he would lose the hold and have side control on the ground. Schulz would continue to work his ground game until the end of the round.
Round 2 – After exchanging strikes, Schulz was able to easily get the fight to the ground. He would transition to the mount position and look to use strikes to set up a submission. Garcia would end up giving up his back and Schulz would lock in a body lock. He would transition back to full mount and began to rain down punches. At the end of the round, Schulz went for a choke, but the round ended before it was tight.
Round 3 – The fighters would start the round by exchanging strikes and once again Schulz would easily get the fight to the ground. Once on the ground, he would achieve the full mount position. He would land multiple shots on the ground and the referee would come in to stop the fight after Garcia was not defending himself.

Round 1: Referee for this bout is Yuji Shimada. Karakhanyan dropped Takaya with a right hand early in the fight, but Takaya quickly recovered on the ground and held Karakhanyan in guard. Karakhanyan postured up with punches and landed a knee as Takaya stood. Karakhanyan countered punches from Takaya with a leg kick and a combination. Takaya put together a nice flurry of his own. The fighters clinched and traded knees. Both fighters landed leg kicks after a break and Karakhanyan scored with a right hand. He landed a big uppercut, but Takaya reversed a takedown at the bell.
Round 2: Karakhanyan countered punches from Takaya with leg kicks in round two and clinched in the corner. The fighters were separated and Karakhanyan quickly clinched again. Another break was called and Takaya landed a combination. After a brief clinch, Karakhanyan rushed in with a jumping switch knee, but fell to the mat after Takaya cracked him with a counter right. Takaya punched from Karakhanyan’s guard and avoided an armbar attempt late in the round.
Round 3: Karakhanyan landed an uppercut in round three and Takaya countered with a left hook. Karakhanyan flurried and threw a front kick to the face. He took Takaya down and briefly made it to mount, but Takaya recovered half-guard. Karakhanyan passed to side control and tried to throw knees, but Takaya defended well and got back to half-guard again. Takaya battled back to his feet, only to be taken down again. Takaya stood and landed a quick combination.

He tried for a guillotine choke, but Ji countered with one of his own. Delarmino eventually managed to escape and fought out of an arm-triangle choke from the bottom seconds later. Ji worked for an armbar and Delarmino slammed out.
The fighters stood and Delarmino landed a knee. He countered a takedown with a guillotine choke. Ji scrambled, but wound up in an arm-out inverted triangle choke. Ji pulled his head free and landed hammerfists. Two hard punches scored for Ji and Delarmino gave up his back. Ji quickly secured a rear-naked choke and Delarmino was forced to submit with mere seconds remaining in the opening round.
