Round 1: Pierce right away grabs a double leg takedown and takes down Baczynski, but Baczynski is keeping him wrapped up tight. Baczynski uses the cage to stand up but pierce stays on top of him as they grapple along the fence. Fighters get space, and they feel each other out a bit. Pierce catches a kick and puts Baczynski on his back. Baczynski sneaks up to his feet, but gets put right back on his back. Pierce isn’t doing much with these takedowns, but he is landing some short strikes.

Round 2: Baczynski trying to figure out the reach early in this round, but Pierce grabs a hold of him and gets a big takedown. Baczynski gets back to his feet using the cage, but Pierce is not letting him off the hook. Baczynski creates some space, and tries a knee that Pierce grabs. Baczynski begins to open up a bit, but Pierce dives in and gets the takedown. Baczynski pops back up, but Pierce still pressuring. Fighters break up and Baczynski is trying to put the strikes together, but Pierce closes the distance. Baczynski throws a random knee and slips and Pierce jumps in his guard and goes to work.

Round 3: Pierce closes the distance early, but Baczynski starts opening up and turning on the strikes of Pierce. Baczynski is starting to mark up Pierce now, and now Baczynski is stopping the takedowns. Pierce dives in, and does get one. Pierce goes to work from guard. Baczynski is landing plenty of strikes from his back. Pierce isn’t doing anything and the ref stands them up. Surprise, Pierce gets another takedown.

Round 1: Emil opening with a flurry of strikes and trips Karlstads own Kenny Karlsson. Emil ends up in Kennys guard and is looking to punish Kenny with some ground and pound. Kenny stands up and is looking to redeem himself but gets put up against the cage by Emil. Kenny takes Emil down and works for a guillotine, it isn’t successful but he ends up in top position and mounts. Kenny works with some good ground and pound but Emil gets saved by the bell!

Round 2: Emil rocks Kenny with a left hook in the opening of the second round and Kenny clinches. Kenny lands a good combination and is landing more shots. Emil clinches and gets the takedown. Emil looks to pass Kennys open guard. Kenny is looking for a triangel choke but Emil is aware of it and defends. Kenny pushes Emil of and gets up to his feet. Kenny lands solid shots and knees to the head of his opponent possibly just stole this round as well.

Round 3: Kenny rocks and drops Emil and is trying to get a stoppage with heavy ground and pound but Emil is able to withstand the flurries and gets on top and in side control after Kenny lets him up. Emil has one hook in and is looking to take Kennys back, and he does and works for a RnC. Kenny defends and lets Emil into mount but thereafter regains half guard. Emil however passes again to mount. Emil is able to land some good shots with one minute left but Kenny gets up against the cage for a short while but gets taken down again.

Round one: Elliott with a side kick early but Dodson moves away. Both men fly through the air looking to land but nothing significant lands. Dodson barely misses with a head kick before almost getting taken down. Dodson has to fight off another takedown attempt but does so. Big exchanges from both men before Dodson has Elliott down for a second. Nice little counter from Dodson. The reality show winner is looking to throw bombs but Elliott is covering up. Dodson gets the fight to the ground before Elliott looks to take an arm. Both men return to their feet. Nice left from Elliott lands. Dodson misses with a flying knee. Bad poke in the eye from Dodson to Elliott. A doctor has been called in to assess the condition of Elliott who seems to be saying he can’t see properly. He tells the doctor he’s ok to continue. The fight resumes. Dodson lands a couple of big shots as Elliott gets wild with all sorts of crazy shots. Flying knee from Dodson ends the round.

Round two: Elliott is clearly having a hard time opening his eye. Dodson with a head kick that knocks Elliott off balance. Elliott with a wild kick just to prove he’s not out of it just yet. Nice combination from Dodson but Elliott with a couple of nice left hands. Right hook from Dodson lands flush on the jaw but Elliott takes it and continues to move forward. Dodson is throwing short elbows now but they’re coming up… short. Elliott gets crazy again, desperate for a takedown but somehow Dodson rolls his way out of it to safety. Nice couple of hooks from Dodson land before the reality show winner scores with a low blow. Brief stoppage. The fight resumes and Dodson goads Elliott in for a big takedown. Elliott back up and he lands a knee. The round ends.

Round three: Nice exchange by both men sees Elliott take a little tumble. Dodson is throwing elbows on the left side as he seems to have broken his hand. Nice knee from Elliott lands. Nice left hand from Elliott lands as Dodson stumbles a little. Elliott gets through over and over with one-two combinations. Elliott looks for a single leg but Dodson spins away and the fight resumes on the feet. Knee from Dodson lands to the mid-section. Dodso with a series of leg kicks land. Elliott fires back with straight punches that all get through. Elliott pours it on looking for a late finish but he just can’t land the right shot. Another flurry from Elliott lands but Dodson survives. Double flying knee to end the round.

Round 1: Garcia takes the center of the cage as they feel each other out. Garcia opens up with some leg kicks and Holloway returns fire. Garcia staying calm so far but Holloway is quickly getting comfortable. Holloway drops Garcia with a right, and after swarming in on him and landing a few shots he gives him some space. Holloway back to work on the legs. Garcia coming forward though. Garcia now loading up his punches, and Holloway is seeing them coming. Garcia lands a nice straight right that wobbles Holloway a little bit, but he is staying calm. Garcia is head hunting, and already looks to be breathing deep. A spinning back kick is also paying dividends for Holloway.

Round 2: Holloway goes back to the spinning back kick to the body right off the bat. Holloway now pressing the action, and lands a nice one two that backs up Garcia. When Garcia is landng one, it seems as though Holloway is landing one or two. Garcia gets a takedown but Holloway gets right back up and they split up. Holloway is now wearing on Garcia who is throwing horrible looking punches. Garcia lands a nice left he throws from his pocket, but Holloway isn’t having it.

Round 3: Holloway is coming forward early and Garcia is throwing punches and groaing with each one of them. Holloway is standing in the pocket and exchanging with Garcia and getting the better of them. There doesn’t seem to be much on the punches from Garcia. Garcia and Holloway exchange toe to toe, and Garcia gets a takedown. Garcia can’t do much with it, Holloway back to his feet. Both fighters are standing in the pocket and trading, but it seems like Holloway is the one landing the better punches.

Round 1 – Ryan with a significant height advantage. Touch gloves as they meet in the center. Left hook from McGillivray., jab. Body shot from Bautista. Ryan working the jab. Nice leg kick from Bautista, body shot, Ryan shoots, eats two rights. Bautista lets him up. Left hook from Ryan. Leg kick inside from Bautista. Big overhand right from McGillivray, Bautista ducks it. Big slam from Ryan, lands in side control. Moves to north-south, lets go of the neck. Side control, knee to the body. Left hand from McGillivray, looks for a keylock. Bautista slips out. Just over one minute left. Bautista tries to push off the ropes with his feet. Ryan controlling Bautista. Bautista gets to his feet as Ryan still has him in a front headlock. Bautista pushes Ryan to the corner with 15 seconds left. Ten seconds. Ryan still holding him. Cranks toward a guillotine as bell sounds.

Round 2 – Fakes a jab, left hook from Ryan, misses a right. Right hook from Ryan. Left jab pokes Bautista in the eye. Ryan misses a punch, it goes to the ground and Bautista takes Ryan’s back quickly, locks on the choke. Ryan escapes, gets mounted, Bautista drops some shots, Ryan gives up his back. Bautista with both hooks in. Ryan spins around and ends up on top inside full guard. Beautiful. Ryan bleeding on Bautista’s chest. McGillivray working from top with punches, body shots and elbows. Under two minutes to go. More body shots. Ryan in half guard. He hooks up Bautista’s arm but he slips out. Ryan is cut on his hairline. The Voice keeps on and on and on about the blood. It’s really not that bad but he makes it sound like Friday the 13th. Ryan looks for a choke at the end of the round. Replay shows it was an elbow from the bottom by Bautista that cut Ryan.

Round 3 – Ref wipes off Ryan, says he’s too slippery. They trade jabs. Front kick from Ryan. Left hook from Ryan. He misses a hook. Leg kick from Ryan. Body shot from Bautista. Bautista ducks a punch and Ryan slips to the ground, ends up on his back. Bautista lays down inside his guard. Elbows from Bautista. Ryan throws up and armbar, spins, locks the legs, goes belly down for a second turns it over and Bautista taps out quickly. Ryan gets his hand raised with his daughter Peighton on his shoulders. Ryan said he tore his meniscus coming into this fight and he took a leg kick early on that blasted his knee. Ryan said he played possum to get the fight to the ground so he wouldn’t have to shoot on his knee again. It worked!

Round 1: Saadulaev opens with some kicks and goes for the takedown and Jansen looks to work out, but after a prolonged struggle Saadulaev takes his back and slips in the hooks. Jansen goes old school and looks to escape with a Gramby roll, which looks nice, but doesn’t work. Jansen does reverse, but takes a stiff punch when the fighters stand and Saadulaev is pretty free with the lefts and the kicks before gaining another takedown and landing inside Jansen’s guard.

Round 2: Jansen is throwing, but he’s far out of range and landing nothing. Saadulaev back in for a takedown, which fails. Some strange body language from Saadulaev here as he makes a fist with his right and looks down at it and then briefly places the hand on his hip, looks like the tank is running low. Jansen with the takedown, but finds his arm in a precarious position as Saadulaev has a kimura, he frees that and slaps on an arm triangle choke, which he gives up when he can’t jump to the side to tighten it up. Jansen postures up and is throwing heavy strikes down on Saadulaev.

Round 3: Team Jackson practically drags Saadulaev back to the corner between rounds two and three. Saadulaev in for a takedown and Jansen slaps on the guillotine and Saadulaev taps out.

Round 1 – Wood with a kick to start. Rogers with a big right hand. Wood ducks under, shoots and then secures an early takedown. Wood looking to pass to the right but the cage prevents it. Rogers scrambles to his feet then takes Wood down. He’s in side control and going to work looking to isolate an arm. Wood retains guard and locks up a guillotine. It’s tight. Rogers is stuck in the guard of Wood, but manages to free his head. Rogers creates a little space and lands a left hand. Wood is very active off his back looking for openings for a sub attempt. Rogers has a lot of experience and recognizes the danger. He postures and lands another left hand. They stand for a moment, and Rogers grabs a quillotine and drops to his back looking to finish. Wood pulls free and now has his chance to do some work from the top. He gets busy with left hands. Wood is bleeding from his nose, but is doing significant work from the top. Body-head from Wood. Rogers kicks off and Wood stands over him looking for an opening. Rogers lands a big upkick but Wood walks right through it. He takes the back of Rogers as time runs down. Very close round.

Round 2 – Wood coming forward. Huge exchange in the middle of the cage. Rogers lands a big right hand. Wood looks for the takedown, but can’t get it. They hit the mat for a moment then break. Wood sets up his shot and drives Rogers into the cage but ends up on his back. Wood again looking for subs from his back. He looks for an arm but Rogers recognizes the danger and postures out. Short hammerfists from Rogers now. Wood is staying active on his back as Rogers continues to land. Rogers makes a mistake and Wood pounces, securing the neck and looking to finish by guillotine. It’s tight!! The tap comes and it’s over.

Round one: Huerta just looks weird bald. Just pitting that out there. Huerta aggressive early, but Zoro catches a kick and sweeps him down. Huerta finds his way to his feet quickly, though. Nice right upstairs and body kick from Zoro, but Huerta bulls his way inside and batters away with short punches. Zoro gets the Thai clinch with his back on the fence but loses it quickly as Huerta thumps away. Nice leg kicks from Zoro. Kick from Zoro is caught and released shortly thereafter. Nice left from Roger. Jab, leg kick, and head kick all land from Zoro and another head kick. Huerta roars back with solid punches. Teep to the face from Zoro and a hard leg kick. Good straight from Zoro; Huerta looks a lot more tentative now. Another leg kick from Zoro. Solid head kick from Zoro. Heurta pushes forward with punches that fall short. Hard combo from Huerta after Zoro caches a kick. Huerta finishes the round on the attack. Very close, entertaining round.

Round two: Roger bulls forward with punches and lands a handful. Flying knee from Zoro misses and leads to a clinch. Nice leg kick by Zoro. Hard left by Zoro and another. Another leg kick. Clinch. Zoro is doing a great job using his length here. Thai clinch and Zoro lands a knee while Huerta punches. Good right hands from Roger, who eats another solid leg kick. Left hook from Zoro lands, Huerta responds in kind. Huerta looks slow at the moment. Zoro unloading on the cage now with knees and punches, just battering Huerta. Roger escapes but continues eating punches HUGE straight right from Zoro drops him. Roger gets up and is eating punch after punch after knee, but he’s still going and throwing. Never mind, he’s crumbling. Roger is dead on his feet. They need to stop this. Zoro just owning him. MONSTER soccer kick from Zoro after Roger fails a takedown and Roger is completely out. Good lord, that was PRIDE-esque.

Round 1 – Our referee is Herb Dean and the night has begun! Touch of gloves. Swick with a nice overhand right. Swick with another massive overhand right that staggers Johnson but he clinches and recovers. Another overhand right by Swick. Nice shots from Johnson now. Swick with a hard shot from thai clinch but Johnson catches his leg and takes him down. Swick has full guard and is trying to walk back to the fence. Shots to the body by Johnson. Swick escapes and he lands a nice shot. Big shot by Swick and these two just swing for the fences where Swick catches him again but then Johnson answers himself. Johnson gets the trip takedown. Johnson has mount now, works for a neck crank and gives it up to work punches. Swick recovers half guard after taking some hard shots. D’arce attempt by Johnson, with :45 to go, Swick defends it well and escapes the choke. Johnson finishes the round in Swick’s full guard.

Round 2 – Touch of gloves. Big left hook by Johnson. Swick circles away. Swick counters Johnson with a tough left hook. Long jab by Swick. Swick catches a kick and holy crap Johnson is knocked asleep on a punch during the takedown! What a finish!

Round 1 – The action opened with the fighters exchanging strikes and Rickels looked to grapple for a moment. They would separate and Fischer landed a jab and looked for a takedown. Rickels would stop the attempt and they continued to have a stand up fight. After a brief stop to the fight for Rickels mouthpiece following out, Fischer was able to take the fight to the ground. Rickels would be able to get back to his feet. Fischer would once again go for another takedown, but it was unsuccessful and Rickels ended up in top position. Fischer attempted an arm bar near the end of the round, but could not finish the fight.

Round 2 – The fight would continue to be a stand up battle, with the fighters exchanging strikes. Fischer looked to take the fight to the ground, but Rickels would stop the attempt and they would grapple against the cage. Rickels would jump up to take the back and then transition to the full mount. Fischer would be able to get out of the position and went for a heel hook. After he knew he would not finish the fight, he gave up the position and got on top of Rickels. Richels would reverse the position and finished the round with hammer fist.

Round 3 – After a minute of striking, the fighters grappled and Fischer looked for a kimura submission, but could not do anything with it. Fischer would end up in top position and Rickels looked for an arm bar submission from his back. Fischer ended up standing on the face on Rickels to escape the hold. Rickels would stay on his back and looked for a triangle choke submission. Fischer would escape the submission and maintain top position. The action would end in this position with both fighters looking to score points to win the fight.

Round 1 – A.O. lands an early kick. Again. He’s getting off with his kicks early. Big punches, nice exchange. Clinch, knees by A.O. He’s blitzing Cooper. After a stall they restart. Big right hand by Cooper. A.O. lands another kick, then drives Cooper into the cage. Cooper fights off the takedown attempt by skipping on one leg across the cage. A.O. stays relentless, then lands a huge knee to the groin. Cooper is down and in a lot of pain. The referee tells him to take his time, but he’s hurt pretty bad. The referee rules it unintentional as the crowd comes alive. Cooper is standing now but still in pain. A.O. feinting now. He fakes the leg kick, then lands a jumping knee. Spinning backfist just misses by A.O. He’s really mixing up his strikes. A.O. fires down the middle but misses. They clinch briefly then break. A.O. clinches then goes for a throw, but ends up on the bottom. He gets back to his feet and they swing for the fences until the bell. What a round.

Round 2 – Touch of gloves to start. Cooper looks to establish his jab. A.O. fakes low and goes high and lands. Cooper is a tough kid. Big knee up the middle. Flying kick by A.O. and Cooper lands on top after it hits the mat. A.O. looking to use the cage to get back to his feet. Cooper snatches his hips out and maintains top control. A.O. gives up his back trying to stand and Cooper takes his back. Cooper is a Jackson Tennessee guy and the crowd is going nuts. He has his hooks in and is landing with left hands. A.O. manages to defend and gets back to his feet. A.O. puts Cooper on the cage now and locks up the plum clinch. He lands a knee, then both guys swing for the fences. What a way to kick off the televised card. Cooper lands his best punch of the night countering a kick with a straight right hand. Cooper scores to the body with a kick of his own. A.O. with a spinning back kick that doesn’t look like it lands but Cooper responds like it caught him low. The fight is stopped and A.O. is warned again. After the restart, Cooper lands another big right hand down the middle. A.O. responds with another big kick. These guys are banging. A.O. Goes for a leaping kick and slips. Cooper goes to the mat and takes his back but time is running down. A.O. reverses and goes ballistic from the top until the bell sounds.

Round 3 – Cooper connects with a right. A.O. with more kicks again. A.O. is slipping in the cage. He shakes his head and gets back to work. Another nice right hand from Cooper. Cooper lands a right hand, and this time it’s A.O. that gets caught with an unintentional blow. The eye poke stops the action for a moment, but we are back on. Good kick from Cooper. Knee from A.O. He tries to trip Cooper but can’t get the fight to the mat. Cooper on the other hand gets his takedown. He goes for a leg and slips, giving up position. A.O. can’t scramble to his feet, and Cooper scrambles, taking the back of A.O. He’s got one hook in and is looking for the second. Close third round. A.O. is trying to tie up Cooper looking for the ref to stand them up. Cooper gets reversed soon after and now A.O. is on top. Cooper stays busy on his back and sweeps, landing in the full guard of A.O. A.O. sweeps and gets to full mount. He can’t maintain control though as Cooper reverses and finishes on top.

Kelly reverses him and he’s on top in Pulver’s full guard. Kelly tries to pass and Pulver pops back to his feet. Kelly tries to throw Pulver over his shoulder but gets denied. Kelly wades in and Pulver drops him with a left hand! Pulver tries to follow up but doesn’t land anything and Kelly is back to his feet. Head kick misses from Pulver and Kelly scores with a nasty leg kick. Pulver seems confident now and his left hand is scoring nearly every time he throws it. Nice left from Kelly and the fight’s momentum has shifted. Inside leg kick from Kelly and then another kick. Pulver eats a right hand and fends off a takedown attempt. Pulver lands a nice kick to the body and then blasts Kelly with a pair of body shots. Kelly whiffs with a one-armed judo throw and Pulver is on top in side control. Pulver throws a knee to the head on the ground but then lets Kelly back to his feet. Head kick is partially blocked by Pulver. Pulver is really loading up the left hand. He lands another left which paritally stuns Kelly and he’s pouring it on here. Pulver is in control as time expires.

Round two: Kelly lands a big right hadn and then another. Pulver is hurt but he eggs Kelly on. Pulver shoots in for a takedown and Kelly stuffs him. Pulver is hanging onto a single leg and he dumps Kelly on the ground but can’t keep him there. Kelly is putting the pressure on Pulver and Pulver looks like he’s in major trouble. Huge body kick from Kelly and Pulver is folded in half. A couple more punches and the ref intervenes.

Round 1: They come out swinging, but Delorme quickly switches to the takedown, hip-tossing Denis, but they’re right back on their feet, trading punches. Denis lands a couple of right hands and a low kick that get Delorme’s attention, then clinches and tosses him to the mat. Delorme works from his full guard, trying to land an armbar, but Denis pulls out and drops some big right hands on Delorme. Delorme scrambles, grabbing Denis’ leg and works up to his feet. Delorme tries to switch to the log kicks, but Denis catches him with punch combinations, then unloads with knees to the body and chin, leaving Delorme wobbly and scrambling to regain his senses. Delorme gets to the mat, putting Denis in his full guard, trying to slow the pace of the fight to recover. Denis drops a couple hammerfists, but backs out and forces Delorme to his feet, but Delorme dives in and rocks Denis with punches, staggering him. Delorme unloads a flurry of punches, causing Denis to clinch and slow the punches, but Delorme tosses him to the mat. Delorme takes his back and locks on a rear naked choke with his hooks in. Denis taps out!

Shogun uses a switch of the legs to move to side control. Vera tries to scramble and Rua with a hard knee to the grounded Vera’s body. Vera escapes and goes for headkicks. Vera jumps into a very nice guillotine choke but Rua stays patient and calmly works his way out. Big punches by Shogun in half guard. Shogun advances to side control and then takes Vera’s back with :30 left. Big shots from Shogun, elbow to the face by Vera. Round ends with more punches from Shogun.

Round 2- Leg kick to left hook by Shogun. Shogun is swarming a wounded Vera. Vera stops the rush and then lands a wicked right cross. Big hook to a straight left by Vera. Right hook to a body kick by Vera. Thigh kick by Vera. Big punch by Vera and an elbow to follow up but then Shogun answers with a massive strike of his own and looks to throw knees. Shogun snaps him to the mat and works for his back but Vera keeps fighting and fights out. Big right from Vera. Both fighting a little dazed and it’s only at the 2 minute mark of Round 2. Nice right by Vera. Vera clinches and uses a back trip to take Shogun now. Vera taking his time on the ground though.Vera looks like he’s in more pain than Shogun, knees from Vera. Rua is throwing punches from his back. Vera finally postures up and misses a big elbow as the round ends.

Round 3- Vera pressures forward and throws a flying knee that misses. Shogun grabs a single leg but Vera defends against the cage. Knees exchanged by both fighters. Vera goes for a big knee but Rua pushes him off. Nasty left by Shogun. Body punch to thigh kick by Vera. Hook by Vera countered by Rua. Rua grabs a fronthead lock and throws bg knee to the head of Vera. Vera wisely drops to the gorund to avoid more knees. Shogun locks up a cradle. Shogun postures up and lands a big uppercut. Big elbow from Vera as he escapes. Two beautiful combos by Vera!. Big attack from Vera now and Shogun clinches and trips Vera with a back trip. Both guys are tired but neither is relenting. Shogun postures up and lands some big hammerfists. More punches by Rua.

Round 4- Good combos by Vera early. Nice knee to the body by Vera. Rua on a single but Vera defends. Nice knee to body and then a nice knee to the head by Shogun. Punches to the body by Shogun. Punches from Vera. Grueling fight so far. Knee by Shogun and Vera tries a footsweep but Rua recovers. Body punch to legkick by Vera. Nice elbow by Vera is answered by a wicked uppercut from Rua. Knee by Vera. Knee by Vera, elbow by Rua in the clinch. They separate. Left by Vera lands. Nice right by Vera. Big uppercut by Shogun staggers Vera. Shogun hits Vera with a left that makes Vera reach for his jaw and Shogun drops Vera with a nasty 1-2 combo. Big shots from Rua and Vera is done. Crazy fight.

Round 1: Bastress quickly clinches looking for a takedown. Sepulveda sprawls, but Bastress rolls forward into guard, sucking the bout to the mat. From bottom, the former D3 national wrestling champion swings for a kneebar, but Sepulveda shuts the attempt down. Bastress keeps attacking at Sepulveda’s legs, eventually shucking by his arm, whipping him to the mat and landing in top position along the fence. Bastress gets to half guard and looks for a front headlock. “The Storm” passes to mount easily, but Sepulveda bucks, rolls and escapes. Bastress shoots in, Sepulveda tries to isolate his arm for a kimura, but Bastress explodes out with a parting shot for good measure. They reset on the feet, and two left roundhouse kicks to the head crack Bastress. Head kick-left cross from Sepulveda follows, prompting a Bastress shot, which Sepulveda stuffs. Sepulveda is cut just under the right eye, and it is leaking onto his foe’s back as he sprawls out on top. He tries to lock up a kimura and step over Bastress from the top to take the back, but Bastress sucks his legs out and gets into side control. Knees to the body land for the Dover, Pa., native until the horn.

Round 2: Bastress feints and walks forward with a massive overhand right. When Sepulveda kicks in response, he grabs the leg and slams him to the mat again. Bastress sets up in guard until the upkicking Sepulveda forces him to reconsider. Upon restanding, Bastress drives right back in for a takedown, clinching along the cage. Referee Mario Yamasaki warns Bastress for linking his fingers into the cage links before separating the two. Bastress follows with a hard right hook, then takes Sepulveda right back down. Sepulveda keys in on another kimura from the bottom, but is getting nowhere. Bastress tries to step over from the top and roll into an armbar, but opts instead of reaffirm position on top. “The Storm” sets up in the closed guard of Sepulveda and chips away with punches, but Mario Yamasaki stands them up after just 15 seconds. They stand up, but the bell cuts them off.

Round 3: Bastress steps in on a jab, and the left inside low kick from Sepulveda strikes him low. Bastress takes a moment to compose himself, and on the restart, lands a jab-spinning back fist. Sepulveda kicks in response, sending Bastress shooting into a power double that plants “Smash” on the floor again. Sepulveda rolls forward as Bastress goes for mount, finding himself in a guillotine. Bastress pulls guard, but has one butterfly hook and Sepulveda clears it, escaping the choke. Bastress re-shoots, and is stuffed. He tries to pop up and just narrowly blocks a head kick from Sepulveda. He reshoots, shucking his foe by and showing more wrestling dominance. Bastress lands a hard right elbow from full guard. Referee Mario Yamasaki again the stands the fighters up on a whim. Bastress shoots in on a low single, and Sepulveda squats on him, hammerfisting the side of the head. Yamasaki warns Sepulveda for hitting the back of the head even though the blows are clearly legal. Just before the horn, Bastress rolls through and completes a single, ending up on top at the horn.

1stRound: Melendez scores a takedown for a brief moment. Thomson did a nice job of avoiding damage and gets to his feet. A sparring session has broken out for much of the round. The champ trips him to the canvas and drops a bomb just as the horn sounds.

2ndRound: Thomson thwarts a takedown attempt. The reported knee he injured heading into the scrap looks just fine so far. Melendez is very methodical in his attack. Thomson takes a finger to the eye and time is called. Game on. Melendez secures a takedown with a minute to go.

3rdRound: Thomson may have lost the opening two frames, but he is much more competitive than in their rematch. He throws Melendez off on a weak takedown try. Melendez’s hands look sharp. The challenger trips him to the canvas. Great back-and-fourth action. Thomson takes another finger to the eye, but refuses to take time. Melendez stuffs a takedown attempt. Close round to score.

4thRound: Melendez gets a powerful slam and has him pinned against the cage with three minutes remaining in the stanza. Thomson gets up with no problem. Melendez has him clinched against the fence. Thomson trips him to the mat and takes his back with a minute to go. He’s got a body lock and is attempting a rear-naked choke. Melendez does a great job of fending him off for the rest of the frame.

5thRound: Melendez gets a brief takedown. Nice one-two combo by Thomson, but he’s gonna need a lot more than that to leave with the strap. Thomson takes another finger to the eye and time is called. Game on. Despite what Melendez’s face looks like, he’s most likely winning. It’s pretty busted up, BTW. Thomson gets a takedown with less than a minute remaining, though there’s not much GnP. Melendez is actually more active off his back. The horn blares and both raise their hands in victory.

Leg kicks by Ortiz, and Tulio lands a low kick that catches Ortiz in the nuts. Temporary break in action. Ref tells Ortiz to take up to 5 mins if he has too. After a couple minutes, they restart with Tulio throwing high head kicks, then he lands a straight right, backing Ortiz up just a bit.Both fighters landing low kicks, and Tulio lands a left uppercut followed by a knee. Superman punch by Ortiz misses. Both fighters content with standing and trading. Ortiz tries to find the range with his jab, then throws a kick, and Tulio takes him down. Tulio tries to work some ground and pound from Ortiz’s full guard.

Round 2: Tulio rushes Ortiz with a barrage of punches, Ortiz responds by throwing a wild right hook that misses. Tulio doing a good job circling and finding his range. Tulio takes him down again now dropping punches from half guard. Ortiz tries to escape out the back door, but Tulio gets full mount, then Ortiz turns giving up his back. Tulio with both hooks in dropping punches to the side of Ortiz’s head. Tulio trying to flatten Ortiz out and so he can secure the rear naked choke. Ortiz tries to fight it off controlling Tulios wrists but Tulio lands more punches as the round ends.

Round 3: Ortiz pushes the pace throwing left jabs and right hooks. Tulio with a leg kick and a left jab that connects. Another takedown by Tulio. Ortiz tries to get a left underhook to no avail, then Tulio gets his back again. He flattens him out with both hooks in, and locks in a rear naked choke forcing Ortiz to tap.

2ndRound: Zwicker catches a kick and takes him down. Inocente wiggles free and continues his kicking exhibition. Inocente wrestles him to the ground and is unloading some nice GnP. Zwicker eats a nasty spinning back fist. Both are gassed.

3rdRound: Zwicker catches a high kick and tags him with a big right hand. The action was fast and furious early, but they are clearly winded in the final frame. Zwicker is still coming forward despite being on the receiving end of several highlight reel strikes. Inocente unleashes a jumping knee to the dome.

Round 1: Caraway landed a nice left hook early in the fight and Gagnon returned fire with a body kick. He tried for a takedown and took Caraway’s back in the scramble. Caraway rolled through and Gagnon wound up on top in guard. He postured up with punches and elbows. Caraway spun into an armbar, but Gagnon escaped and landed more strikes. Caraway upkicked but ate some big left hands. Caraway managed to stand up and Gagnon landed a knee. The fighters battled for takedowns and exchanged knees in the clinch. Gagnon scored with a knee to the jaw and backed away. Caraway put together a nice combination and took Gagnon down. Caraway passed to mount and landed short elbows before the bell. Close opening round.

Round 2: Lead left hooks scored for both fighters early in round two and Gagnon put together a flurry of punches and a knee against the cage. He followed with another knee and the fighters teed off with punches. Caraway took Gagnon down and fought off a guillotine choke. Caraway landed short punches from back control and tried to set up a rear-naked choke. Caraway switched to a body triangle and landed more punches. He moved to mount as Gagnon rolled and continued to punish Gagnon with left and right hands. Gagnon tried to explode to his feet, but Caraway took his back again and worked for another rear-naked choke. An exhausted Gagnon turned into Caraway’s guard and stood. Gagnon landed a knee in the dying seconds.

Round 3: Caraway dragged Gagnon to the mat in the final round and quickly moved to back control. Caraway secured a body triangle and punched at the ribs of Gagnon, then locked on a rear-naked choke and Gagnon was forced to submit.
