Round 1: Pendred opens up quickly with an uppercut that lands. The Irishman now stalks Bielkheden around the cage and lands a crushing left that sends the Brazilian Top Team product to the mat. Big ground and pound now from Pendred but Bielkheden remains calm off his back. Couple of nice right hands from Pendred, but he ultimately stands up. Back on the feet now and both men exchanging punches. Nice shots landing for the local fighter that forces Bielkheden to shoot in for a takedown. Not much effort as the Swedish-born Bielkheden scores the takedown and quickly puts his black belt to work as he applies a tight kimura, but time runs out and the UFC vet is forced to give up the move.

Round 2: Both men touch gloves as the second round gets underway. Pendred throws a wild punch and quickly clinches up with the Swede. Not much going in clinch so both men separate. Pendred slowing down as Bielkheden stalks him around the cage. Out of nowhere, a huge head kick lands for Pendred, who once again crumbles his opponent. Wisely, he steps back and allows Bielkheden to stand. Back on the feet, the Brazilian Top Team product seems to have recovered well from his second knockdown. Takedown for Bielkheden no good, but Pendred answers with a double leg of his own that gets the Swede down. Bielkheden sweeps now and gets back to his feet before scoring with a quick takedown of his own to end the round.

Round 3: Round three underway and Bielkheden smiles at the Irsishmen. Big left lands for Bielkheden that drops Pendred. Bielkheden on top now looking to pass guard which he easily does. Back to the kimura he couldn’t finish in round one but he lets it go to move to mount. The Swede looks to posture up from mount, but Pendred shrugs him off and explodes back to his feet. Back standing momentarily, but Bielkheden wastes no time getting the fight back to the mat. In guard now and Bielkheden lands short punches as the crowd cheers on both warriors. 1:30 left in the round and Pendred is completely spent as he looks to survive off his back. Referee stands both men up with a minute left. Bielkheden desperately looking to finish but is too tired. Pendred shoots for a takedown late, but it’s stuffed as the round comes to an end.

Round 1: They come out swinging. Page misses with a huge right hand. Pickett ends up in top position as the fight went to the ground. Page lands an up kick. He gets back to his feet. They’re throwing big shots. Pickett misses with a right hook and Page ducks under and gets the takedown. Pickett works his way back to his feet and slams Page to the canvas. Pickett lands punches. Page took a few solid punches. Pickett works short elbows inside of Page’s closed guard. Page gets back to his feet and they take the center of the Octagon. Pickett lands a right hand to the body. Page misses with a flying knee and Pickett takes him down. Pickett lands a solid right hand as Page worked his way to his feet. Pickett secures another takedown in the closing seconds.

Round 2: Page comes out aggressive. He looked for a takedown but Pickett moves away. Pickett secures a takedown but Page scrambles to his feet. Pickett lands a left hook that drops Page. He swoops in and tries to finish with a flurry of strikes. Page ties him. Page is bleeding from his nose. Pickett landing right hands at will form half guard. Pickett works for a guillotine choke. Page defends and gains top position. At the half way mark in the round, Page is in top position. Pickett scambles to top position. Page gets to his feet. Pickett lands a big uppercut. Page dives for a takedown. Pickett fends it off and takes Page’s back. He sinks in both hooks and applies the rear naked choke. Page is forced to tap out.

Round 1: Referee for this bout is Gene Yu. The fighters traded cautious punches in the opening minute until Hill landed a nice overhand left. Kasuya tried for a takedown and took Hill’s back while standing. He flattened Hill out on the ground and worked for a rear-naked choke. Kasuya locked on a body triangle and nearly got the choke, but Hill escaped. Kasuya continued to try for rear-naked chokes, but Hill defended well. Kasuya looked to isolate one of Hill’s arms, but Hill used the opportunity to sweep. He took top position in Kasuya’s guard and landed some solid punches. Kasuya gave up his back and Hill locked on a rear-naked choke of his own. Kasuya tried to hold out until the bell, but eventually tapped out. Excellent fight.

Round 1 – Touch of gloves to start. Reynolds with a kick but it’s checked. He gets the next one in. Reynolds with a nice one-two, then follows up with another kick. Dos Santos staying patient. He fires a jab straight down the middle. More stinging kicks from Reynolds. He then shoots but is stuffed. Dos Santos clinches and fires off a couple of knees. Reynolds gets on his bike and gets out of there. Reynolds with more kicks after the reset. Dos Santos lands another big jab, then follows up with a kick. Looping punches by Reynolds, while Dos Santos is scoring with straight punches. Big knee inside by Dos Santos. Looping right hand lands over the top for Reynolds. More knees from Dos Santos. Dos Santos is doing work inside, but Reynolds is getting the better outside. Dos Santos lands to the crotch, and the fight is stopped for the moment. Dos Santos is given a warning from the referee. Back to the action. Inside leg kick by Dos Santos after the restart. Reynolds unleashes a big right hook, then goes to the body. Dos Stantos scores with a short elbow. Another lead right hand by Reynolds. He closes and eats a right hand from Dos Santos. To the clinch, Dos Santos goes to work with knees. Uppercut lands for Reynolds. Reynolds to the body now. More knees from Dos Santos. Reynolds lands a short elbow, then dives into the legs of Dos Santos. A short does of ground and pound by Dos Santos closes the round out. Close round.

Round 2 – Jabs from both guys land. Knee Dos Santos. Kick for Reynolds. Another. He fires off a head kick that’s blocked. Nice jab by Dos Santos. Reynolds comes back and misses with his jab but follows up with a hard kick to the body. Lead right hand for Reynolds. He likes to throw that from crazy angles. Looping right hand by Reynolds. Dos Santos with a nice left hook. Big knee in close. Again by Dos Santos. Dos Santos throws a spinning backfist that Reynolds ducks. Reynolds capitalizes changing levels and getting the takedown. Back to the feet. Dos Santos goes to the plum and lands a series of stiff knees up the middle. Reynolds retaliates with a flurry of body shots. He then shoots but gets stuffed. Dos Santos puts Reynolds on the cage and goes to work with knees and elbows. Reynolds retreats to the center of the cage and rolls as Dos Santos takes the fight to the mat. Dos Santos posturing now and landing big strikes from the top. Now elbows. He’s grinding this round out with punishment from the top. Dos Santos stands and steps away. Reynolds gets tho his feet and fires off a left hook just before the bell.

Round 3 – Reynolds goes right back to that right hand. Inside leg kick, then left hook by Reynolds. To the body, then kick from Reynolds. Left hook from Reynolds. Jab now from Dos Santos. Reynolds lands a big right hand that hurts Dos Santos. Left hook from Reynolds. He’s landing at will from the outside. Dos Santos lands a couple of kicks but is doing better when he can get inside, which has been rare this round. Five punch combo for Reynolds. He’s taking control of this bout now. Jab Dos Santos. Reynolds with a slapping left hook. Dos Santos finally closes, clinches and lands a few knees. Reynolds gets out of range and resumes landing his strikes from outside. Just as I type that, he shoots and ends up on his back, but only for a moment. Back to the feet. Reynolds changes stances now. Spinning backfist from Reynolds connects. He then shoots but is stuffed again by Dos Santos. Reynolds with a wild spinning kick that misses. They tie up and swing for the fences to the bell. Both guys raise their hands.

Round 1 – Malegarie is the early aggressor as he’s firing off jabs and low kicks. Martinez throws a two punch combo that was unable to land. Martinez gets Malegarie up against the cage but is unable to do anything as they separate shortly after. Martinez is hunting him down. Martinez goes for a takedown but Malegarie stuffs it. He continues pushing forward trying to get Malegarie’s leg but is unsuccessful. Martinez lands a nice body punch. Martinez counters a low kick with a straight right. Martinez lands a nice low to high combo. Malegarie lands a few solid shots that push Martinez back. Malegarie clinches and throws a knee but it does not land. What he releases, Martinez lands a nasty hook that has Malegarie wobbling. He continues pushing forward and landing big shots on Malegarie. Malegarie beginning to fire back. Malegarie slips after throwing a right hand and Martinez gets him up against the cage. Martinez continues to batter the Brazilian’s bloody face. Martinez lands a takedown to end a very solid first round.

Round 2 – Martinez pushing forward and just misses a solid high kick. Malegarie pushes Martinez up against the cage but Martinez is able to reverse the position. They separate and get in tight to exchange punches. Malegarie gets the better of Martinez in the exchange. Another exchange occurs and Martinez lands the better punches this time. Malegarie shoots for a takedown and Martinez fires off several punches but Malegarie is able to complete the takedown. Martinez easily makes his way back up. Martinez continues to land at will. He shoots for the takedown but Malegarie is able to get away. Martinez fires in and lands a couple jabs. Malegarie pushes forward with a few jabs but is unable to land. A nice low kick to punch combination by Martinez. They both land with straight’s. Malegarie is starting to land a bit more and is now pushing forward. He was able to get Martinez up against the cage and land a couple jabs before moving in for a takedown. Martinez reverses positions and separates. The round ends with Martinez once again looking great.

Round 3 – Early exchanges are favouring Martinez. He shoots and takes down Malegarie. Malegarie reverses with a phenomenal sweep but Martinez scrambles to his feet. Martinez lands a couple nice stiff jabs. Malegarie pushes forward and begins to throw his hands a little more. Martinez clinches and puts the Brazilian up against the cage. Malegarie lands a nice jab. Malegarie is starting to push forward and he shoots for a takedown. Martinez reverses and gets Malegarie up against the cage. They separate and start to throw bombs. Martinez is definitely getting the better of these exchanges as he pushes Malegarie back. Martinez goes low for a takedown but is unable to complete. He has him pushed up against the cage. He moves off and throws a jab. Martinez lands another jab and Malegarie falls. He is able to get back to his feet but Martinez shoots and completes the takedown. The round ends with Martinez in top position.

Round 1 – Both fighters started quick and looked for the knockout shot. Jansen then dropped Tirloni but he recovered quickly. As the round wore on the pace didn’t slow down one bit and Tirloni seemed to be picking the better shots. To slow the pace a little bit Jansen started throwing some leg kicks but that didn’t do much. Tirloni then hit Jansen with a good left but he quickly recovered and started returning fire. As the round came to a close Jansen grabbed Tirloni and suplexed him to the canvas. Tirloni then pulled himself up as the bell rang.

Round 2 – The second round started with a couple of missed right hands by both fighters. As the round continued both fighters slowed down a bit and really just started counter punching each other Tirloni then threw a hay-maker which landed wide and outside that woke Jansen up a bit. Jansen then tried changing levels and got locked in Tirloni’s tai plum. As the round came to a close both fighters continued their onslaught of counter punches.

Round 3 – The final round opened with a simultaneous clinch. Jansen then continued to throw some uppercuts with little damage on Tirloni. More chants of USA started echoing through the Ryan Center as Jansen started to push the pace a little further. Tirloni then started using in-and-out movement to slow Jansen’s pace down a little bit. After a lull in the action Jansen went for a take-down and a flurry ensued. As the round came to a close Jansen went in for another suplex but was unable to capitalize.

Round 1: Jansen pushes forward on Kirwan right away, but Kirwan reverses the momentum with a shot. Kirwan slaps on a guillotine choke and Jansen scrambles until he can pop his head loose and stand back up. They tie up in the center of the cage and trade uppercuts and knees on the inside. Kirwan scores with a strong knee up the middle that has Jansen breaking away. Kirwan shoots again and this time it’s Jansen looking for a guillotine. Kirwan escapes and stays on top, trying to control the legs as Jansen works to stand using the fence. Kirwan has a body lock and Jansen slams a few hard right hands to his body as he gets to his feet. Jansen turns the corner and nearly takes Kirwan’s back before Kirwan hits a switch. Jansen goes around the back again and drops right hands to the face of the kneeling Kirwan. With 80 seconds left, Jansen goes back to the front for another choke attempt and Kirwan uses the opportunity to put Jansen on his back. Kirwan tries to stay heavy on top but Jansen gets to his feet again. Another guillotine try from Kirwan yields nothing, and Jansen closes the back-and-forth first round on top, throwing punches.

Round 2: Kirwan pops Jansen with a left and drives on a single-leg attempt while Jansen grabs for yet another guillotine attempt. Kirwan gets his head loose and steps into full mount, then latches onto Jansen’s back to go for a rear-naked choke. Jansen twists free, giving Kirwan mount momentarily before stuffing him back into his guard. In one motion, Kirwan takes Jansen’s back again and sinks in a deep rear-naked choke. Jansen somehow bridges and gets free from the choke, then twists around to place himself in Kirwan’s closed guard. Jansen drops right hammerfists on Kirwan’s face and chest at the midway point of the fight. Kirwan goes for another guillotine and Jansen escapes once more. Jansen drops hard shots until Kirwan — now trickling blood from his brow — turns around, then takes his back and finishes the round with punches from there.

Round 3: Jansen puts Kirwan on his back quickly and works from his closed guard. Kirwan throws up a triangle which Jansen denies and keeps pounding away. The action isn’t enough for ref Jacob Montalvo, who stands them back up with just about three minutes to go. The pattern repeats with Jansen shooting and Kirwan grabbing at a guillotine which he’s soon forced to abandon. Montalvo wants more action and Jansen postures up to put right hands on Kirwan’s body and face. Another guillotine try from Kirwan with a minute remaining. Jansen isn’t troubled and punches Kirwan’s body until he can get loose. Jansen finishes the fight as he finished the previous round, throwing punches from top position.

Dantas lands another hard kick and Makovsky looks for a takedown and gets it. Dantas attempts an omoplata and Makovsky escapes. Dantas on his back as Makovsky stands above him. Dantas attempts another omoplata, but Makovsky escapes again. They return back to their feet and Dantas comes forward with punches. Dantas stalking his opponent and lands a head kick that’s partially blocked. Makovsky looks for a takedown, but Dantas. Dantas lands another partially blocked high kick as the round ends.

Round 2: Dantas throws a front kick that misses and follows with another high kick. Makovsky returns fire with a head kick of of his own. Makovsky looks for a takedown but Dantas defends well. Dantas briefly achieves mount and Dantas tries to work to his back. Dantas now in Makovsky’s guard. Dantas works to Makovsky’s back and then mounts Makovsky. Back on Makovsky’s back and then to mount again. Dantas looking for the arm-triangle. He passes to side mount and the choke is tight. Makovsky is fighting it, but he goes to sleep and Referee Keith Peterson steps in. Eduardo Dantas is the new Bellator bantamweight champion.

Round one: Amaya dances around for a bit and immediately dives in with a body lock looking to take the fight ot the ground. Amaya is working for a single leg takedown while Saunders is hunting for a Kimura. Amaya has Saunders presses against the fence and Saunders reverses him, taking inside position against the fence where he blasts Amaya with a pair of knees. Saunders keeps the knees coming to the legs and body and then he goes high. Saunders almost catches a standing Kimura but is content to take top position on the ground when Amaya falls down. Amaya tries to roll free but Saunders is on top of him dropping punches. Saunders drops some big knees from side control and Amaya pops back to his feet. Saunders again takes inside position against the fence and he throws some heavy knees. Amaya keeps working for the takedown but Saunders nails another knee. Saunders steps over and he’s hunting for an inverted triangle. Saunders transitions to an armbar but Amaya slips free. Saunders now attacks with a Kimura but Amaya rolls free and Saunders finishes the round looking for a triangle and an armbar.

Round two: Amaya comes in wild swinging freely and hunting for a takedown but Saunders lands another knee. They clinch along the fence at a strange angle and Saunders fishes for a standing Kimura. Amaya drops and Saunders lands big punches and then takes Amaya’s back with a body triangle. Saunders attempts an armbar transition but slips off and Amaya takes top position. Saunders pops back to his feet and Amaya attempts a slam and then scores a takedown but Saunders is attacking with an omaplata and now he transitions to a triangle choke. Saunders has the triangle but Amaya slips free. Now Amaya attacks with a front head lock and he’s back in top position. Saunders continues to attack from bottom but Amaya postures up and drops a couple nice punches. Saunders boxes Amaya’s ears from bottom and again brings his legs up hunting for a submission. Saunders transitions to an armbar and Amaya spins free once more and he’s back in Saunders’ full guard. Amaya postures up and drops punches and Saunders dodges most of them. Amaya drops a pair of punches at the end of the round.

Round three: Saunders opens witha body kick and Amaya swarms him with a big flurry of punches. Amaya throws a knee and slips, falling to his back. Saunders takes top position and passes to side control. He passes to mount and tries to transition to a triangle choke but loses his position. Saunders is still hunting for an arm here but Amaya now is on top and now he takes Saunders’ back. Amaya is in full mount but he’s very high up and Saunders rolls over and takes top position with a sweep. Amaya’s eye is nearly swollen shut and he turtles. Saunders puts a hook in and now he’s got the body triangle again. Saunders rolls him over and he’s putting a ton of pressure on Amaya with his hips. Under 90 seconds left and Saunders flattens Amaya out and drops some big punches. Amaya is not defending and he gives up the full mount. Saunders grabs wrist control and thinks about a keylock and Amaya bridges attempting to squirm free but Saunders takes his back instead. They finish the round with Saunders glued to Amaya’s back dropping punches.

Round 1: Ole starts of like a ball of fire with some damn hard shots. Folayang pushes Ole against the cage and and somehow, Ole gets a takedown. Ole is going for the Kimura but doesn’t get it. They stand and Ole pushes Folayang against the cage. Ole gets his back and Folayang reverses it and tries a rear naked choke. They scramble and Eduard gets Ole’s back. Tries a RNC but doesn’t get it. Eduard gets Ole’s back again! They stand. These 2 guys are working like machines! It’s so fast paced! I might be getting my shit wrong! Great fight! They’re standing and trading. Spinning back elbow by Eduard. Eduard tries a spinning back kick and slips. Ole jumps on that. Eduard stands and they’re just teeing off again. That was a crazy first round! WOW!

Round 2: Folayang is starting of with some heavy bombs. Eduard gets a takedown but Ole stands immediately. These 2 guys are trading fast and HARD! Ole rocks Eduard but Eduard recovers fast. These guys are just trading so fast and furious that I just can’t keep up. Ole’s face is so swollen and banged up he looks like a hambuger. He ain’t so pretty anymore. Ole and Folayang just keep beating each other up like punching bags. Ole gets a takedown but Folayang gets up near immediately. They stand and just keep trading bombs. It’s as though these 2 guys are drunk in a bar brawl. Don’t they feel pain? Like I’m feeling pain just watching. Folayang tries a takedown but doesn’t get it. We end the round. Great fight.

Round 3: They start the 3rd the same way as ever, beating the shit out of each other. Eduard gets Ole’s back with a takedown and Ole flips him! You have to see it to believe it. They both stand now and they’re going ape shit crazy on each other. This fight is crazy! Like the reporter shouting next to me! Nah, just kidding. They square each other up again. They’re just standing and trading. Eduard lands a hard right and Ole seems to be going for a takedown. Hard knee by Eduard. They stand and Ole lands a hard hook square on the jaw! Ole gets a last minute take down and they’re fighting on the ground. The bell rings and the fight ends. That was a crazy fight! I’m so tired right now. Seriously. We go to the judges.

Round 1: Referee for this bout is John McCarthy. Esparza looked to strike early on and threw a one-two and a body kick. She attempted a takedown and Schneider stayed on her feet. Schneider took Esparza down and moved to mount. Esparza kicked her off and battled back to her feet. Esparza reversed a throw attempt from Schneider and landed on top in mount, but Schneider spun into a heel hook attempt. The fighters stood and Esparza landed a nice combination. Schneider shot in for a takedown and wound up on the bottom. She used rubber guard to control Esparza’s posture, but Esparza managed to create space to land punches. The close round ended with Esparza on top.

Round 2: Esparza was aggressive with punches in the second round and the fighters teed off in an exchange. Esparza got the better of it and countered a takedown with a rear-naked choke attempt. Schneider sat up to defend and Esparza wound up in side control. She moved to mount and unloaded with punches that forced Schneider to give up her back again. Schneider stood briefly and Esparza dragged her down again. From the back, Esparza landed punches until Schneider exploded out. Esparza retained top position and continued to pepper Schneider with strikes. Schneider scrambled and locked on an inverted triangle choke. Esparza freed herself and punched from a modified scarf hold position. She transitioned to Schneider’s back and punched with her right hand until the fight was stopped.

Round one: Smith takes the cage center and Young throws a nice inside leg kick. Young snaps another kick and Smith is throwing a large volume of punches. Young throws a head kick but Smith catches it and leg sweeps her. Young thinks about an armbar but gives up on it. Young has a high guard and Smith is having trouble finding space to land punches. Young pops back to her feet and throws a pair of nice body kicks. Young connects with a nice overhand right and Smith fires back with an uppercut and a body shot. Young clinches and throws some wicked short knees and a big elbow. Huge body kick from Young and they trade hooks. Young connects solidly with a leg kick and a right hand and then an inside leg kick. Young’s kicks have so much zip on them, they’re landing heavily here and Smith seems to be slowing down from them. Smith fires back with a body kick. Big flurry of strikes from Smith and Young counters with a right hand. Smith again wades in with a flurry and Young throws a big body kick. Huge right hand from Young and Smith fires back with body kick. Nasty body kick from Young and Smith throws a big flurry of punches. They trade heavy punches on the inside and they throw down until the bell.

Round two: Smith presses forward and throws a nice left hand. Young responds with an inside leg kick. Smith is being very aggressive with her punches early and Young has slowed down now. Young clinches and throws a big elbow on the exit. Young is dancing around on the outside and throws a big straight right. Smith’s pace is terrific here and she’s making Young play more defense than she’d like. Big body kick from Young and a nice right hand. Smith keeps pressing forward and she throws a pair of nice right hands to the body. Young lunges in with a right hand and Smith keeps the pressure on. Smith is throwing nice flurries and Young throws a big body kick. Nice right hand from Young and Smith backs Young into the fence throwing effective punches. Solid left hand from Smith and Smith turns it up in the final 10 seconds.

Round three: Smith keeps up the forward pressure and both ladies exchange heavily. Smith lands a big combination and Young has enough and shoots for a takedown, pressing Smith into the fence. Young scores a takedown but Smith somehow stays on top and drops some nice right hands from above to the body. Young throws up her legs looking for an armbar but she locks her legs together and Smith escapes it. Smith switches to an armbar of her own but Young gets on top and slips out. Young throws a big knee as Smith gets to her feet and they are back at it with strikes. Nice right hand from Young and Smith connects with a big 1-2 combination and a body kick. Young throws a heavy leg kick which staggers Smith. Big right hand from Young and Smith comes over the top with a right. Heavy body kick from Young and Smith throws a nice left which snaps her head back. We’ve got 60 seconds left and this round is still up for grabs. Big leg kick and then another from Young and Smith is limping. Heavy body kick from Young and Young turns it up in the final 10 seconds. Awesome fight.

Round 1: Teixeira lands a big hook early. Another hook and Fabio is down. Glover is just pouring it on. He has Maldonado mounted and is landing elbows from the top. Maldonado is defending but Teixeira is landing a ton. Huge shots to the face and Maldonado has a heck of a chin but he’s taking a ton of punishment. Glover is working for an arm-triangle and he’s passed to side control. Oh that’s tight. Maldonado shows crazy heart and survives but Teixeira has mount again. More punches and elbows from the top. Maldonado’s face is a mess. Maldonado is able to escape and get back to his feet. Maldonado connects with a left hook. Major punches from Teixeira. This should be stopped! Wait! Maldonado rocks Teixeira with hoks! He’s on wobbly legs. This is insane! Glover takes him down as the round ends.

Round 2: Glover takes the fight immediately to the ground with a double leg and then takes Maldonado’s back. He’s manhandling him on the ground. Maldonado gets back to his feet and they are trading punches on the feet. Body shot from Maldonado. Glover drops and gets another takedown. He has full back mount and Maldonado rolls and gives up mount. Glover lands some nasty elbows from the top. Maldonado gets back to half guard but Glover passes back to side control. Glover is doing work but his pace has slowed considerably. Those elbows are nasty but the referee stands them. He takes a moment to inspect the face of Fabio Maldonado. Looks like the doctor is coming in to check out Fabio Maldonado. Doc gives the OK and we’re back. Teixeira lands a left hook and then a right hand over the top. Fabio is out on his feet. How is this fight still going?

Round one: Leg kick exchange and a good body kick from Kelly. Beautiful Judo throw from Kwon puts him in mount, but Kelly immediately reverses. Kwon fishes for a Kimura, but elects to find his way to his feet instead. Another great throw from Kwon gives him side control and he briefly takes Kelly’s back, but the Filipino fighter worms his way out and back to the feet. Nice knee tap from Kwon but Kelly stands again. Yet another throw from Kwon has him in side control. Krown again gets the back but is too far off to one side and gets reversed. Brief triangle attempt from Kwon provides enough room for him to return to his feet when Kelly pulls out. Nice leg kick from Kelly and a right hand. Flying knee from Kwon doesn’t connect, but he briefly gets into front headlock position before Kelly escapes and socks him in the mouth. Another good leg kick from Kelly and another. Quick punch flurry ends with Kwon landing a right. Great, close round.

Round two: Leg kick from Kwon. Bigger leg kick from Kelly. Slick trip from Kwon but he just can’t stay on top as Kelly makes his way to his feet. Kwon nearly takes his back standing but can’t maintain it. More-traditional double-leg from Kwon puts him on top. He gets the back again and actually has hooks in this time. Doesn’t look like he’s on there very well, but he’s fishing for the RNC. Kwon too high and Kelly slips out. Nice elbows from Kwon in the clinch. Matt Hume gives Kwon a yellow card for strikes to the back of the head, although those looks like the side of the head to me. Nice kick from Kelly, nice left hand from Kwon in return. Elbow on the break from Kelly connects. Nice body kick from Kelly; Kwon tries to respond likewise but slips and Kelly grabs his back. RNC looks extremely deep, but Kwon is saved by the bell.

Round three: Nice right straight from Kelly. Quick clinch and both men land hard. Good leg kick from Kwon. Beautiful double-leg from Kwon puts him on top in half. Kwon rolls back for a heel hook and Kelly decides to do the same. Kwon disengages and gets top position. Kelly tries to spin out but gets stuck in turtle position. Kwon gets hooks in but he’s just way too high on Kelly’s back. He goes for an armbar but loses position. Kwon fiddling with a leglock, but decides to just get up. Kelly takes the back standing in beautiful fashion and looks like he has the choke, but Kwon spins and lands on top in guard. Short punches from Kwon. Kwon has Kelly against the fence and is using it to actually keep him down for once. Kwon finishes with a series of punches.

Round 1 – Referee Chris Tognini oversees this flyweight fight. Quick punches traded before Elliott takes the fight to the floor and latches on to a guillotine. Not there, and he lets go to reset. Papazian responds with several punches and a head kick that lands flush, but Elliott pushes through and takes the action to the floor. Fast pace to start. Elliott trying to advance to mount. Papazian recovers guard and tries to set up a triangle. Elliott slips out and resets. Elliott snatches a guillotine and rolls over as he looks to finish. He has the neck, and he tries hard to secure guard but can’t quite get it. Papazian breaks free and pushes forward. As he does, Papazian lands a knee to the face just as Elliott was settling back on his rear end. Tognoni calls time, and the doctors come in to take a look. Elliott staggers as he stands. He doesn’t look good, but the fight carries on. Tognoni didn’t clearly deduct a point, so tough to tell if he was penalized. Not sure fight should continue, but it does. On the restart, Elliott launches forward and drops Papazian. Incredible turn of events there. Elliott in top position. He’s grinding away from the top with punches and elbows. Papazian scrambles up. Firefight on the feet in the final minute of a crazy first round. They clinch briefly before scrambling at the end.

Round 2 – Both fighters moving well to start as they fire punches from distance. Elliott moves inside and scores a slick trip takedown. He’s in side control and looking to fire elbows. Papazian’s nose bloodied, but he spins to his knees. Elliott breaks free and they reset on the feet. Elliott takes a deep breath and then shoots in again and takes the fight to the floor on a single leg. Papazian is right back to his feet. Halfway mark, and pace finally settling in. Leaping knee scores for Papazian. Lead uppercut follows. Elliott has his mouth open and is slowing down. High kick scores for Papazian. Round close into the final 90 seconds. Papazian picking up his striking output and landing. Elliott tries to shoot in to change the momentum, but Papazian shucks him off. Elliott answers with a front kick and a straight. He looks to be fading a bit. Strikes exchanged in the closing seconds, and Elliott scores another takedown and lands a few punches.

Round 3 – Could be even heading into the third, so both fighters need to go. They scramble in a takedown attempt and Elloiott looks to twist an ankle. With their bodies facing opposite ways, it’s a stalemate, and Tognoni stands them up. Both come out energized on the restart. Front kick fro Elliott and a straight to the head and Papazian drops. Elliott pounces and moves immediately to mount. Blood pouring from Papazian’s nose. Elliott punching away. Papazian rolls to his knees, and Tognoni is on top of the action. Papazian moving but taking a lot of damage. Halfway mark of final round. Elliott thinking choke. He punches and punches until it opens up. Left hand goes under, but Papazian circles in and pops free. Papazian showing heart but getting handled on the floor. Elliot looks for the choke again in a bloody battle. Hooks are firm, and the arm is sliding under the neck. Elliott lets it go in favor of holding mount. Papazian slips free anyway and back to his feet. Big firefight before Elliott drives it to the floor again. Papazian running out of time. Papazian bucks and rolls, but Elliott stays tight until the bell.

Round 1: Gracie and Steele circle the cage looking for an opening but neither fighter seems ready to commit. About a minute in Gracie charges in and grabs a single-leg and methodically works him to the mat. Gracie clears Steele’s guard and locks up an arm triangle but it isn’t tight enough. Gracie goes to the figure-four grip and Steele still manages to keep the blood flowing to his brain. Gracie goes to knee on belly and works for an arm but he can’t secure it and Steele is free. Back on their feet it is all Steele. He lands punches at will and then drops Gracie with a knee. He pounces and bombs away until referee Chris Tognoni steps in to end the assault at 4:52 of the opening round.

Round one: Both ladies land big body kicks and Ovchynnikova connects with a nice left hand. They clinch and exchange strikes and Ovchynnikova throws Sucevic over her hip and passes directly to mount. Ovchynnikova throws some punches from mount and transitions to an armbar but Sucevic slips free. Sucevic attempts a guillotine and then attempts a leg lock before switching to an armbar. Ovchynnikova picks her up and tries to slam free. They scramble and Sucevic lands in top position and now she’s in full mount but Ovchynnikova sweeps her and takes top position in full guard. Ovchynnikova sits back and attacks with a leg lock but can’t secure it and they both pop back to their feet. Sucevic takes inside position in the clinch along the fence. Ovchynnikova scores a takedown but Sucevic takes top position. Sucevic attacks Ovchynnikova’s back as the round finishes.

Round two: Ovchynnikova throws a leg kick and then another before cracking Sucevic in the face with a side kick. Ovchynnikova throws a nice push kick and they clinch. Ovchynnikova lands a pair of nice knees before throwing Sucevic over her hip. Ovchynnikova passes to side control and throws a knee to the body and now she’s in full mount. Ovchynnikova is hunting for another armbar and she gives up the mount to try another armbar but Sucevic escapes and takes Ovchynnikova’s back. Sucevic puts her hooks in, flattens Ovchynnikova out and then locks in a rear naked choke. She puts her hips into it and Ovchynnikova taps the canvas!
