Light Heavyweight Bout: Angel Deanda (11-2) vs. Tyrone Spong (1-0)

-Deanda is a 5’8″ Light Heavyweight who doesn’t have a signature win to his name and has been starched by James Irvin in the past. Spong will do what he did in his last bout, feel him out for a few minutes before unleashing the strikes. Spong via R1 KO.

Lightweight Bout: Gesias Cavalcante (17-7-1) vs. Tyson Griffin (16-6)

-JZ, who recently signed with Glory, should have the striking edge, but it’s not so drastic that it’ll keep Griffin at bay. Griffin can had on the feet, but Gesias doesn’t impose his striking enough and is tepid about using his jiu jitsu. Griffin rides him out for the win. Griffin via UD.

Heavyweight Bout: Dave Huckaba (20-5) vs. Ray Sefo (2-1)

-Huckaba is one of those fighters who’s just good enough to get into a Bellator tournament, but limited enough that he’ll lose in the first round. He’s the definition of a regional fighter, and while he does have some impressive wins, Sefo wouldn’t book this fight if he thought he was going to lose. Sefo via R2 KO.

Bantamweight Bout: Brandon Hempleman (9-1) vs. Marlon Moraes (10-4-1)

-Moraes was brought in to be cannon fodder for Miguel Torres, but has found his niche in WSOF. He’s still only 25, but has seemingly righted his ship after starting his career 6-4-1. Hempleman is a fine fighter that’s ready for a step up in competition, but Moraes is on a career-redifining tear right now. Moraes via R3 TKO.

Lightweight Bout: Keon Caldwell (9-1) vs. Nick Newell (9-0)

-Listen, let’s call it what it is, Newell has a bad striking deficiency that has yet to be tested. Caldwell is a pure striker and he needs to try and circle to Newell’s left, where he has a striking, reach, and defensive disadvantage because of his handicap. If Caldwell doesn’t get sucked in and rush after Newell like a lot of his opponents do and actually fights a safe fight on the perimeter, he should be able to expose his defiency. Caldwell via UD.

Welterweight Bout: Gerald Harris (21-5) vs. Jorge Santiago (25-11)

-Inside the UFC, Santiago is a tame, meek, overmatched fighter who gets put away easily. Outside of the UFC, he turns into this menacing finishing machine that is innovative and exciting and puts on fantastic violent bouts. Just going to play the odds here. Santiago via R2 TKO.
