We’re starting a new weekly feature where we fill space by bringing you the best and greatest links from around the interwebs in the last week. Some may have to do with Vikings football. Most probably won’t, though. And at the end, we’ll send you off with our song of the day. Hopefully, this will be a good tool to help you get through this terrible midweek slop fest so you can just go home and masturbate.

Highdeas: This site has been making its rounds the past few days, but it’s definitely worth the read. Not that Purple Jesus would NEVER do such a thing (Percy Harvin would), but if you get high and come up with a great idea, you should post it here. This story about Tom Hanks – which I don’t even care if it’s true or not – is worth the read alone.
Luol’s Dong: Fellow dick joke writers that focus on a dickhead sports scene in Chicago, Luol’s Dong chimed in recently with a melt down over their love affair with Cutlerfucker. It’s a good read, because it makes you, as a Vikings fan, feel all squishy in your pants.
Teachable Quotes: This website is gold. A friend started it after he had continual encounters with youth in an inner city school. The stories are priceless and, since he’s a Vikings fan, also occasionally relevant! Here is a recent favorite one.
What Would Tyler Durden Do: I don’t know why I put this one in here. I think because it has pictures of Ashley Tisdale in a bikini, and because I’m praying she’s at least over 18. She is, right? I mean, all people who play high school kids in movies or TV are like 34, so she has to be legit.
Defensive Indifference: If you’re not reading this Vikings blog, or at least occasionally accidentally clicking on it, you need to start. Here, Jason provides a level headed approach to the Lions game. He usually talks more stats and puts more people in boxes than a closing Ford plant. Good stuff.
Spider-Guy Returns: Ever read that email exchange with the guy who drew a picture of a spider as payment (preview was at the beginning)? Shit is hilarious. But he’s back! Not in pog form, but in an exchange with late Blockbuster movies. He is a genius in how he gets out of this. Hats off to you, sir.
Shawn Zobel Ball Washing: Frequenters of Rube Chat over at KFAN.com will be familiar with Shawn Zobel, the self made douche cunt who faked his way through his draft predictions by posting two versions with his final, more accurate, one that he staked claim to had a time stamp well after the draft started. He’s since been in the Star Tribune, does shit for the Washington Post, and kind of looks like a fruit cake. Recently, he’s been sucking Peter King’s cock for a chance to cover a piece in his Monday Morning Quarterback section at sportsillustrated.com. Zobel’s Twitter feed is full of a bunch of self congratulatory bullshit and has been QUITE entertaining.
