It has been one hell of a week for a guy that’s technically not even a part of NFL Football anymore.
For starters, Your Boy Randy Moss took to UStream on his birthday, February 13th, Monday, to announce he had full intentions of ending his retirement and returning to the NFL. During his rambling video, he alluded to taking care of personal issues which prevented him from being in the NFL last year, and that he is ready to return to an NFL team.
And while we could debate until we’re all stomping our feet like bratty toddlers about whether or not he should rejoin the Vikings (he should, and if you disagree GTFO of this blog), we haven’t even got the good parts yet.
It was barely a day later when Randy Moss then took to his newly formed Twitter account and traded some barbs with former Viking/mentor/Hall of Fame snub, Cris Carter. Carter, working for that soulless monstrosity in ESPN and who spoke on the Moss-returning news item, had said:
The one thing you have to address with Randy Moss is not a conditioning thing. It’s not an age thing. It needs to be addressed. I believe it’s the elephant in the room. It’s that thing called quit.
And Randy, not like any other superstar I’ve met, he has more quit in him than any of those other players. So I need to addresses that. That’s what Belichick did when he brought him over from Oakland. He told him he wasn’t going to have it. But Randy, when things don’t go well, like no other player I’ve ever been around or associated with, he has a quit mechanism in him that’s huge. That needs to be addressed before he signs with any team. |
… Which really is pretty accurate. He plays when he wanna play. And while I don’t give a shit, Moss clearly wasn’t too happy about them comments:
OH SHIT. SHOTS FIRED, KRIS!
Although not really, as it just seemed that this was Moss being Moss, showing a brusque attitude while actually being cool with everyone, everywhere, all the time. LIKE WITH VIKINGS FANS!!!! At least that’s what I assume in my make believer world.
Well, he didn’t stop there, either. He then took to UStream on Wednesday night and, from what I can gather, went full retard. Full disclosure here: I didn’t actually watch “Moss TV” Wednesday night, but from conversations I was able to pick up on across Twitter, he spoke of Korey Stringer, his alter ego/brother Jacob, he made people watch his aquarium for a while, and all sorts of other weird ass shit. I don’t know if he talked about that GIF of Kate Upton dancing or not, though. I know some of you were able to tune in to the shenanigans, so please, chime in with what your favorite part was (or if you can confirm that whole Kate Upton dancing thing). If it works, I’ve also tried to embed a video clip from February 11th below so people can get a flavor of what this crack job is all about. If anything, at least go check out his UStream page.
