We’re back for the final time during the preseason, which means the next time you’ll see a game thread it will actually be during a Sunday afternoon (because the Vikings don’t play in prime time, silly!) and the game will mean something. Because this one clearly doesn’t. I mean, Joe Webb is starting for god sakes. I’m guessing Jared Allen, Kevin Williams, Antoine Winfield, and likely even Toby Gerhart will be out. TOBY GERHART!! It’s come to this people.
So enjoy tonight’s glorified scrimmage. The fact that people in Texas are paying full admission price for these tickets is absolutely criminal. NFL Gotti, in full effect. What a load of shit. I’d tell those fans to enjoy watching Lex Hilliard, Stephen Burton, Marvin Mitchell, and others, but I honestly don’t know if I remember other 4th stringer’s names to try and drop them here. So whatever. Grab your drink, turn on this flabby excuse for football, and let’s laugh at people. It’s what we do best.
