The Vikings Stadium Progress In Time Lapse

CP1

Have you been to the east side of downtown Minneapolis lately? If you haven’t I wouldn’t exactly blame you. What are you going to do down there besides kill time before a Vikings game? Visit Town Hall for an expensive in-house beer? Sure, I guess. But no one does that. The east side of downtown is a dead zone. Which is also why it’s the perfect place to build the new Vikings stadium, HE-YO!!!!

Sorry. Anyway, the new stadium is actually coming along pretty well. The GIF below is a pretty solid progression video of where the stadium started to where it is roughly now. The only way I could get it to embed was to leave it as being a super-ass large image, so to see the real thing in full size, go here.

Also, it’s not exact … I think this GIF is from several weeks ago … And the last time I drove by it I’m pretty sure it was even more developed than this.Regardless, check this out:

Either way frankly, it’s starting to look good. Like a real stadium, for a real football team. If only we could PUT a real football team in that stadium. I KID, I KID!! Maybe the Gophers will want to play a game there. NO, I’M JUST JOKING, COME ON SETTLE DOWN!
