Celtics guard Ray Allen, who hyperextended his right thumb Wednesday night in New Orleans, will play tonight against the Mavericks in Dallas.
Allen injured the thumb in the first half of the C’s 89-77 win over the Hornets. He said he was still experiencing discomfort today during the shootaround but was going to give it a go against the Mavericks.
