Before the interleague schedule ramps up, the Pirates get a three-game sojourn into Texas to play the bottom-dwelling Astros with a chance to get to or above .500 ahead of the nightmare portion of the schedule. Bud Norris and Jeff Karstens face off on the mound tonight; Norris is the sort of guy that racks up big strikeout totals and makes me super-nervous as a Pirate fan. Karstens is looking to continue his surprising run. Ronny Cedeno is batting second, which isn’t good for anyone.
