Rob Biertempfel said this afternoon that the Pirates won’t make any moves for the upcoming interleague series with the Indians. Given that the Bucs will require a DH for that series and that Pedro Ciriaco has been almost literally invisible since his call-up, it seemed like a given that Alex Presley would get a call for this series. Without Presley, it seems pretty likely that we’ll see a lot of Xavier Paul in right field and Garrett Jones at DH this weekend, as the Tribe is slated to start three righties against the Pirates.
