The Dodgers are Pirates are playing a makeup game today for reasons that I’m not sure anyone anywhere understands. I suppose back in May when this one was first postponed, it seemed like one or both teams may have had cause to make this game up for playoff purposes, but that is clearly untrue on September 1st.
Brad Lincoln is starting for the Pirates today and a strong start against the Dodgers would be his second in a row. That would be good. Dana Eveland is starting for the Dodgers today.
