Rodneystuckey

Celtics (36-21) vs. Pistons (21-38)

Game time: 7:30pm, Palace of Auburn Hills, Mich. TV – CSN. Radio – WEEI-AM (850)

Team Leaders

Scoring
Bos: Pierce – 17.9                  Pistons: Richard Hamilton – 19.2

Rebounding
Bos: Perkins – 7.9                  Pistons: Ben Wallace – 9.0

Assists
Bos: Rondo – 10.0                  Pistons: Rodney Stuckey – 4.8

Who'll go off:  Kevin Garnett. He's averaging about 17 and 8 over his last 5 games. I like his chances against a gimpy Jonas Jerebko (ankle).

Who needs to be stopped:   Rodney Stuckey. He torched the Celtics for 27 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in the Pistons 92-86 victory over Boston on Jan. 20.

The C's will lose if…   Guess who is the top offensive rebounding team in the league? Yup, the Pistons. Without Kendrick Perkins (flu), the Celtics will need to bust their butts keeping Ben Wallace, Jonas Jerebko and Jason Maxiell off the boards.

Miscellany:  The Celtics have allowed an average of 108.0 points over their last four
games. Marquis Daniels has made 22-of-31 shots in his past four games. Pistons center Chris Wilcox (back) is questionable. Jonas Jerebko was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month.

Prediction:  Celtics 97 – Pistons 86

After the jump, some pictures of the Pistons' dance team.
