AAC Expert Picks: Week 11

Some of the AAC Football Fever staff members have been hand selected to give their weekly picks for each American Athletic Conference game.

Blake Lovell, Mitch Wilcox, Jay Saunders, John Nestor, Zach Rastall, Al Burke, and Michael Compton will test their knowledge by contesting me each and every week for bragging rights (and maybe a gratifying pat on the back) at the end of the season.

That was unexpected.

Last week, every single one of us picked Central Florida to beat Connecticut. (Could you blame us?) Seven of us selected then-No. 23 East Carolina to continue its winning streak in Philadelphia against a Temple team that had lost two straight. (Al ruined that one for everybody.)

It was a weird week, but then again, it’s college football in November—anything goes.

With ECU, Cincinnati, and UCF on a bye, only three members of the AAC with winning records are set to see action; two of them (Memphis and Temple) see each other on Friday night, while Houston gets a home matchup with Tulane.
