Sources have indicated to Orangebloods.com that four Big 12 South teams are locked and loaded to join the Pac-10 and an announcement date has been set. One Big 12 South school is still on the fence.
And per Brown’s twitter feed:
Texas will announce its plans to join the Pac-10 after its regents meet next Tuesday, source confirm to Orangebloods.com.
So that means it’s Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State all coming west. But here’s the big question – It’s no secret that Texas A & M is the so-called fence sitter. The rumor is that they are actively considering the SEC. But would you, Coug fans, rather see the Pac-10 nab KANSAS, for example, instead of A & M? Kansas football is OK, but, imagine seeing the Jayhawks coming through town in the Washington trip in hoops? WOW. This whole thing has been so much about football, but Kansas might be a better deal at the end of the day.
We’ll see what happens there, but big Bevo has landed – Texas is coming to the Pac-10!
