Well, That’s One Way to Get Fired

Well, That's One Way to Get Fired

So there you have it, folks. Tonight this staff finally coached themselves right out of their jobs by failing to prepare their “improved” team to beat a conference doormat. In fact, we lost by just one TD less then we did to Stanford. As must-win games go, getting a 1-5 Beaver team with a ton of injuries in front of a friendly crowd is pretty much a gift. Too bad the Cougs decided to light that gift on fire and throw it off a cliff. It all started with a promising drive that led to 0 points after we couldn’t convert a 3rd and then a 4th down and short. You just knew at that point that things weren’t going to go right. Our offense continued to struggle, including losing Jeff Tuel to an as-yet-undisclosed injury, but really the story of the night was how AWFUL our defense was. Like, “they should all have to WALK back to Pullman” awful. Next week they’ll try to stop Oregon, so lets just set the over/under at a million for that one. Also, it bears mentioning that nothing has improved yet when it comes to Pac-12 officiating. They are ust as rediculous as ever. Not only can we not legally tackle the Beaver players, but apparently the Beavs can go ahead and do whatever they want to our QBs. The final hit on Tuel and then the late 4th quarter throw down of Lobs were just amazing. The crew tonight should just be fired, all of them. But we’re just the Cougs so nobody will care. Can you imagine how the league would spring to action if that kind of crap ever happend to the Dawgs in their house?

So go ahead folks, the comments are open and you can say whatever you want. This team deserves it.
