Well, it’s popping up all over the web this afternoon, but a huge welcome to 710 AM ESPN’s Jessamyn McIntyre, the new sideline reporter for WSU Football! As first reported by Christian Caple at the Spokesman on Twitter in the 2 o’clock hour, McIntyre is the choice for Bill Moos and WSU, as Bud Nameck moves up to the booth for good. If you aren’t familiar with her, just know that she’s the producer for the Kevin Calabro show, with the Go-2-Guy on ESPN. While not on the air a ton, from what I have personally heard in listening to their show most afternoons, Coug fans are really going to like her! She comes across as smart and very passionate about football, and has experience back east at the ESPN mothership in Bristol.
Here is her bio, per mynorthwest.com:
Jessamyn McIntyre is the producer of The Kevin Calabro Show. She comes to 710 ESPN Seattle after four years at ESPN Headquarters in Bristol, Conn. In addition to her work with 710, Jessamyn freelances as an on-site producer for NBA games on ESPN Radio.
Welcome aboard, and GO COUGS!
