I’ve been hearing a lot of fans today acting as if the season is over based on this weekend’s game. I haven’t made my prediction yet for the season, but I assure you I will not base it on what the team does in preseason. I’ve been watching football for almost 20 years and have been fooled into believing the preseason hype before. Again, history shows that preseason doesn’t mean d#$k. And for fans and media personalities to go AWOL because of preseason games, shows their ignorance. Rob Johnson looked good in preseason, while the 90’s Bills looked terrible in exhibition. In 2006 not one division winner had an above .500 record in the preseason. The stats don’t lie, but preseason sure as hell does.
