Of course after blogging about the importance of Owens playing against the Steelers, the star wide has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Steelers. Owens did tell Jauron that his toe feels better than it has in a while. Don’t be surprised if the Bills struggle against the Steelers and Jauron pulls the we weren’t at a 100% for the game card.
I’m sure everyone will come out and yell that Owens needs to be there to get the timing down with Edwards. Just a quick stat for you, in 2007 when the Patriots traded for Randy Moss, the wideout didn’t play one preseason game and went on to have 23 touchdown catches for the year. These guys are professionals, and catching and throwing the ball should be something a player should be use to doing with anyone.
