Poz out for 6 weeks

Middle linebacker Paul Posluszny had surgery today on his broken arm, coach Dick Jauron said. Jauron would not put a specific timetable on the injury. But a broken arm like that typically takes about six weeks to heal.

“We’re not looking at anything like the last time he injured his arm (in 2007). We’re hoping to get him back somewhere before the halfway point of the season.”

If he’s out six weeks, he would be back for the Houston game Nov. 1. The Bills are on a bye the following week.
Mind of Joe
The most overrated linebacker on the Bills will be missed, mainly because his back-ups aren’t anything to write home about. Marcus Buggs (who?) is penciled in to start for the Bills. Buggs was an undrafted rookie last year out of Vanderbilt will be making his first start as a pro.
