Well it was a typical Bills game against a far better team. They kept it close throughout, taking advantage of the Saints offense that was out of sync for the first 3 quarters. But when the 4th quarter started, just like in the New England game, the better team turned up the intensity, while the Bills were stuck in 1st quarter mode. The Saints scored 17 4th quarter points, in a 27-7 win.
The Bills offense struggled throughout the majority of the game but when the 4th quarter came, forget it. The Bills managed ZERO first downs. Even though the Bills were in the game for the most part you just had that sinking feeling that the roof was going to cave in, and it did.
It wasn’t the sort of game I had envisioned. I thought the Saints would have there way offensively and the Bills offense would keep it close until at least the 3rd quarter. However the Bills offense was terrible. And to think they were going against a defense that gave up almost 4oo yards in passing to Kevin Kolb. T.O.(More on him later)with held without a catch for the first time in 186 games and is still 4 catches behind Derek Schoman for the team lead.
The Bills are 1-2 and play their first AFC East opponent the Miami Dolphins next week.
