I know some fans are breathing a collective sigh of relief that Chad Pennington is out for the season. Pennington has killed the Bills over the years. But in all honestly how much did it have to do with Penninton?
Prior to Pennington joining the Dolphins, the Bills beat the Jets 4 out of 5 times with Chad leading the pack. The Dolphins have a smart coaching staff that gets the most out of their talent. Even though they are 0-3, they have the 3rd ranked running attack in the NFL this year. Not to mention Ted Ginn Jr. looked like Terrell Owens (not this year of course) when he played against the Bills last year in Miami.
But back to the Dolphins QB situation, I’m a little nervous that the Bills don’t have any game footage on Chad Henne. It’s not like Chad Henne is some back-up quarterback bum who had his shot in the NFL (Losman comes to mind). We haven’t seen anything and don’t know what he will bring to the table. Remember he was suppose to be the heir apparent to the Dolphins last year, but the Fish shocked the world by finishing 11-5.
But in all honestly, it’s not really Henne, the Wildcat, or J.Lo that concerns me about Miami, it’s Bill Parcells. I hold a candle, bible, or whatever is all holy to Parcells. Any offspring from his family tree scares me. The Dolphins have their backs against the wall and it just feels like a trap game for the Bills. Actually traps are more for good teams, this just feels like a rebound game for the fish.
Bills-9
Dolphins- 20
