My personnel guy said the Bengals were the most favorable matchup, but also ranked the Jets second.
“I think the Colts would like to play the Jets again and to say, ‘Hey listen, this is what we could have done if we had played like we’re supposed to’ in the first game,” he said. “The Ravens and the Jets are kind of mirror images at times on defense with Rex Ryan coming from the Ravens with that 3-4 — typical, tough scheme defensively.
“With the blitzes and guys coming from a whole bunch of different directions and all that kind of stuff, I think that could give Peyton Manning some trouble. But between the Ravens and Jets, I think they’d take the Jets.”
