Five things:
- Good seats constantly available in Sunrise for hockey games. Did you see the mass amounts of red in the lower bowl of the BAC? I guess the ‘See Red’ compaign holds true…
- Thomas Vanek’s tip-ins are just disgusting now. They’re perfect. His first goal was nothing but a beauty.
- I’m becoming a little more impressed with Gaustad’s attempts at fighting. While I still fear he’s going to break his hand during one of these tussles, at least he’s not just ‘hugging it out’ anymore. I hate that. If you’re going to fight then throw some punches. Make it worthwhile. I’m not asking you to kill the guy just don’t dance. I’m looking at you, Peters.
- Miller got a shutout early in the year. You know you’re one of those people who sit on the edge of your seat, the clock ticking down to zero just EXPECTING Miller to let in a puck with about 4 seconds left to go. Didn’t happen. Good job, Ryan. I’m so confident about the goaltending this year.
- Brad Boyes, paging Brad Boyes to the Sabres third/fourth line…when Hecht comes back, I think I might know who is being taken out of the lineup if this continues. The guy can’t even BUY a goal. I feel bad for him.
Unfortunately I’m missing Saturday’s game due to me working second shift. They seem to lose when I’m at work but hopefully that’s not going to happen. 50% chance a hat trick is going to occur for the Sabres.
