4) Totally unbiased answer here if possible: Two minutes left. Down by six. Eighty yards to go. Who do you want leading your offense down the field and why…Peyton Manning or Drew Brees?

The unbiased answer is Manning – in part because I’ve covered him for nine seasons and have seen him grow during that time into one of the best late-game quarterbacks in NFL history. The Colts this season rallied seven times from fourth-quarter deficits, and although Manning wasn’t the only reason for that, he obviously was the major reason. The Colts at times this season seemed to play better when trailing in the fourth quarter than they did the rest of the game. Manning has done it before, often, and has done it in pressure situations (see: AFC Title game against New England in January 2007). This is not to say Brees isn’t capable in that situation, but Manning has done it time and again and for years. Experience counts, particularly in the Super Bowl.
