Feathers Up
Travis Hafner has returned to the team after being on the disabled list with a foot injury. It will be interesting to see how Manny Acta plans to juggle Hafner, Jim Thome, and Shelley Duncan in his lineup.
The bottom of the lineup delivered in the second inning. Singles by Lonnie Chisenhall, Luis Valbuena, and Trevor Crowe, and a double by Lou Marson resulted in 3 runs for the Tribe. The last four hitters of the lineup combined today for 9 hits, 4 RBI, and 7 runs scored.
Ubaldo Jimenez had a great outing today, pitching 6 innings and giving up just 2 runs on 3 hits. Despite walking 5 batters, Jimenez looked solid and was able to guide the Indians toward victory today.
Feathers Down
Matt LaPorta worked so hard yesterday and did so well, Manny Acta thought he deserved a day off.
