Some of the AAC Football Fever staff members have been hand selected to give their weekly picks for each American Athletic Conference game.
Blake Lovell, Mitch Wilcox, Jay Saunders, Zach Rastall, and Al Burke will test their knowledge by contesting me each and every week for bragging rights (and maybe a gratifying pat on the back) at the end of the season.
That was easy.
Everyone went five-for-five last week after the AAC’s cream of the crop dominated the cellar dwellers—like they were supposed to—giving each of our winning percentages a small boost while making things relatively easy (for once) in our Week 14 power rankings.
This upcoming slate of games presents a new challenge, however, as UCF takes on USF in the War for I-4, Cincinnati travels to Philadelphia to play Temple in what has been a difficult environment for opposing teams, and East Carolina, Memphis, and Houston all try to avoid colossal upsets.
Memphis, Tulsa, and USF are wrapping up their regular season schedule (with the latter two time-stamping their 2014 campaigns), while the rest are looking to grab another win before their season finales in Week 15.
On to the picks:
