It’s Labor Day now. And good, hard working people are going to pay money to see you try and end this slide out of the playoff race. Packed house, high stakes, needing a stopper. Only one guy would due: Joe Kelly. Who apparently has super fan art turning him into a member of The X-Men.

Oh, and IRL? Joe Kelly had the longest start of his career (6.2 innings) and only gave up 2 runs. Meanwhile the Cardinals got a much needed win in a one-run game and started the homestand off right.
Not bad for a guy who appears to be pitching with an Angry Bird for a hand.
