Cardinals Crapmas doesn’t just celebrate crappy items, it also celebrates crappy ethos.
Case in point, ‘Plus Size’ women.
I’m not a woman. Never have been a woman. But holy crap, the things that you ladies have to deal with. Then society puts on even more pressure? Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t need to be Photoshopped. But here we are.
It’s insane. So the last thing we need is our baseball team to be festooning unrealistic expectations upon you, right?
Really Cardinals? Plus size?
I don’t even want to know what you think ‘normal size is’. But I do want you to take a few seconds this holiday season and think about your expectations. And realize that all women aren’t going to try and fit into what you believe they should look like.
It’s 2013, almost 2014. We can do better. We should do better.
