They were so sexy and smart in February. Bourjos. Peralta. That ROTATION! When Vegas set the over/under of wins at 91.5 we scoffed. And are probably going to be looking for a new living situation in a couple of months… but that’s besides the point.
You lost interest quick, though. In the season. In us. Really, in yourselves.
We weren’t the only ones noticing. Your boss thought the same thing. And that’s why he had to send some guys away. You know, to make sure you understood how much you changed since the World Series.
What’s done is done. Can’t change the past.
Maybe it’s a sign of getting older. Or maybe we put a little coffee in our Bailey’s. But we’re ready to make a deal – the NEW season starts tonight.
Wain-O on the mound. Playing the first place Brewers. A new month. At home. Friday night. Seems like as good a time as any to forgive past transgressions and try to move forward.

It hasn’t been what we wanted the past 4 months. Candidly, we haven’t been ourselves either. Let’s put that behind us and enact change ahead.
