It’s the day after Thanksgiving.
Did you have a good one? I hope so.
I was watching SNF during halftime when the Packers had a nice little ceremony for Brett Favre, admiring how they went through the trouble of creating a custom raised platform out of the Green Bay logo.
It got me to thinking… now that the Rams have honored the Warner/Bruce/Holt/Faulk era, after Orlando Pace’s HOF induction (could be this year, will be in the next few years), there’s really no one left to honor.
The Rams have been so bad for so long, even if they stay in STL, there’s going to be a gap of like 10-15 years where they can’t trot out an old fan favorite for trip down memory lane to get the crowd fired up.

I guess you could honor Steven Jackson? Then again, here is his complete playoff stat sheet.
Just made me thankful that the St. Louis baseball team has been, more or less, kicking ass for the past 15 years. If the Cardinals weren’t so successful, STL would be a wildly depressing sports city.

That’s it. That’s the work week. Hopefully it was a short one for you, but if you happen to be reading this at work – thanks for putting in some time this holiday. You’re the reason we’re able to have those crazy door buster sales.
