So yesterday I made a (admittedly poor) joke about the Flowbee.
The recipient of the joke didn’t get it. Which, since she’s about a year out of college, made sense.
But when I went to commiserate about the ‘youth these days’ with another co-worker that was definitely alive and kicking in the early 90’s, he had no idea what a Flowbee was either.
I didn’t leave it be.
And in a group meeting of maybe 12-14 people, I asked for a show of hands of who knew what a Flowbee was. A little under half the group never heard of it.
There’s absolutely no point to this story. I was surprised that so many people (albeit in a very small sample size) had never heard of the Flowbee.
Also, there’s a good chance that these same people think I’m even weirder than they already did. Explaining verbally how to cut hair with a vacuum cleaner is more difficult than I anticipated.

That’s it. That’s the work week. Cardinals win a series against a winning team and the Blues are getting assists for the other team during the playoffs. Sounds like our world is getting back in order.
