The last few weeks the top tier of teams stayed stable. As Lee Corso would say…not so fast my friends. This week was a lot different. Oklahoma and Wisconsin took a dive and Stanford and Clemson benefitted the most. Outside of the Top 25 West Virginia also bottomed out as they fell from #11 all the way out of the Top 25. Two teams that were undefeated two weeks ago (GT and Illinois) also found their way out of the poll. The highest risers this week in the poll were Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Texas Tech due to their upset of Oklahoma and Texas A&M probably got credit for a Texas Tech win a week late. Two Big Ten teams- Michigan State and Penn State also vaulted up 5 spots in the poll.
