Ross: Outside of their shocking win over Tulsa at the end of the season, SMU's four C-USA wins came against a collection of teams that went a combined 12-36 this year. So playing a game against a good Fresno State team with a potent offense (40.3 ppg, 12th in the nation) and a good defense (22.3 ppg, 27th in the nation) is probably not what they were looking for. The game is a homecoming for former Hawaii coach (and current SMU coach) June Jones, but Fresno State is not going to make it a happy one. Derek Carr, Robbie Rouse, and Davante Adams are going to absolutely romp in this game.
