Way back when the bowl games were announced, this was my second most intriguing game. What's not to like? You have the Heisman Trophy winner and his school, which left the Big 12 for the SEC this season, going up against a former Big 12 foe in Oklahoma. Did I mention that this is a game between two teams who both have a 10-2 record and are ranked ninth and eleventh?

Both of these teams average over 40 points per game and allow less than 25. Both teams come into this game having won five straight games. During that stretch, the Aggies beat Alabama while the Sooners made their way through five bowl teams.

In this series, the Sooners have won 19 of 30 and have won 8 of the last 9 and 11 of 13. The Sooners are in firm control of this series but this will be their first time facing Kevin Sumlin. Sumlin had a fantastic year just simply taking Mike Sherman's players and making them into winners. I like this A&M team and if they can can come back to earth after Johnny Manziel's Heisman win I think they will take this game in what should be a good hard fought contest.
