The Flyers announced last week that they will be holding their annual developmental camp this week. The camp will begin on Tuesday July 7th and conclude with a 3-on-3 tournament on Sunday, July 12th. A total of 33 players have been invited to participate in the camp. Names include this year’s 1st round picks Ivan Provorov and Travis Konecny. Some other notable players invited are Samuel Morin, Travis Sanheim and Scott Laughton.
The camp will be help at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey. The purpose of this developmental camp is to see where the rookies stand with their skills and readiness, and the definitely know that. If they impress during the camp, they may have a shot at earning a spot on the Flyers NHL roster. Dave Hakstol is excited to see what the Flyers draft picks can do. Fans are welcomed to come out and watch all week to see the stars of the future take the ice.
