Nothing like waking up to some fresh rumors on a cold Sunday morning. Our friends at MVN’s Cub Reporter are reporting on radio reports in Chicago that there is talk of sending Coco Crisp to Chicago for pitcher Jason Marquis and outfielder Sam Fuld (who hails from Durham, NH, home of my alma mater the University of New Hampshire).
Marquis would provide depth in the rotation and be more of “sure thing” than Bartolo Colon.
