Coming into the season, even the optimistic Rays fans couldn’t have seen this type of success coming. “Come June 1st, you’ll have the best record in the American League” would be followed by nothing more than chuckles and snickers. “But hey”, I might respond, “if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can be champions, any Tampa Bay team can do it!”
